Well, I’ve gone and jinxed myself! I bailed on my jump too late and did a run/jump jump hybrid right into the mat/box collar gap (with the arrow)! Don’t know how I managed to get wedged there but I did! Thankfully just a sprain but it feels like the worst one of my life and I’ve sprained them many times! #texasexpresstrack #polevault #vaultermagazine

Proud of my consistency at 11’ now!! This jump was only 10’6” but I then went on to clear 11’ with an 11’6” 145 gripping at 11’6”...proud of my improved technique!! Not a bad performance after coaching for 6 hours prior and my body not feeling great. The other positive...walked out healthy this time as three years ago at this same meet I pulled my hamstring competing for the first time since college!!
