Runners hear they need to get strong, so start weight training and either get;
- Too sore to continue with their normal training
- Neurologically fatigued (burnt out)
- Or slower due to poor movement and exercise choice.
Strength for runners doesn’t need to be heavy weights or create soreness, it can be as simple (or not) as single leg balance work while maintaining an upright core with level shoulders.
