Yesterday a client of mine told me he's been experiencing sharp pain in his shoulder for two months. I showed him how to do a breathing drill that I felt would help him and 1 minute later the entire pain diminished.
Once you learn how pain works, you can learn how to eliminate it.
Or you can spend weeks if not months going to traditional physio therapy 😆

Understanding modern pain neuroscience should be at the top of every health and fitness professionals priority list. We need to change the cultural conversation around pain - what it means, why it happens and what to do about it. In the context of working with clients in pain what we SAY - matters.
Why triathletes should use reverse periodization and what does this mean?
- it means we practice sprinting in the off season and aerobic fitness in the on season - no matter if you're doing sprint or Ironman, triathlon is an aerobic sport .
I was chatting with a client of mine about what his Ironman training is like... He disclosed that his Ironman is in August and he's doing 5 plus hour bike rides as of recent. This baffled me so I asked him why and he said that he wants to build up his aerobic fitness now so that he can lose weight and ultimately be faster for his race. .
This is the equivalent of a 100m sprinter running a marathon close to his race. It doesn't make much sense right?! .
Trisutto's methodologies make sense to me, that's why I joined their team. You can train and train and not get very far, or you can train smart and reach personal bests. Which one you chose is up to you.

Na realidade, em praticamente todos (senão em todos) os exercícios, é necessário que se estabilize o corpo buscando manter a posição anatômica da coluna, preservando suas curvas fisiológicas normais nas regiões lombar, torácica e cervical. Para conseguir isso, devemos ir além do “contrai o abdômen” e usar diversos músculos, criando uma espécie de “contenção” (“bracing”) na região abdominal.
Iniciando com a contração do diagrama por meio de uma expiração forçada, deve-se contrair os músculos da região abdominal (transverso do abdômen, reto abdominal, oblíquos internos e externos, flexores profundos de quadril), os paravertebrais e também a musculatura do assoalho pélvico.
O bracing também pode auxiliar no treinamento das 3 disciplinas do triathlon, mantendo o tronco e pelve estáveis. “Fazer”, “montar” ou “armar” o bracing é fundamental e exige treino. Converse com seu professor/ técnico sobre isso e pare de contrair o abdômen: passe a armar o bracing.
