Today I did 4x800s, 3x400s, and 2 all out 50s. I was supposed to do 4 400s but my quads were really sore and none of my times were very good. No matter what I do (rolling, normatec, epsom salt) this quad soreness hasn’t gone away and it’s been about a few weeks now and I’m still not sure what’s causing it. Hopefully it will go away soon, as this is the last week before district.
When workouts don’t go how I want them to, I get really discouraged. But something everyone needs to learn is that even if you have a bad workout, that doesn’t make you a bad runner.
