I know y’all see that mid chest separation coming in! 👀 Mainly from the weight I’ve put off and also incorporating completely crossing my arms during Cable Pec Flys. Crossing your arms across your body will fully engage the chest like no other exercise. Give it a try and in a month you’ll see big changes. In strength and Physique. Stay committed to it.
3 &1/2 months ago I wieghed⚖️ in at 195lbs and some change💰. I committed to exercising 6 day's a week starting in November. I have only missed 5 days of working out. I have missed ➡️0⬅️ in 2019. 🏋️Hard work always works👊. When you take responsibility✔️ for your current situation and let that day be the worst it ever gets🤨, the results are always predictable💯. Still got some work🏃 to go to get that 8 pack, but today was a great milestone, down 20lbs💪 #mateomoves#fiteo#mateodc

Seeing my husband, son, and dad cheering me on as I approached the finish line of my first half marathon was super special! There is no greater feeling than proving to myself & my family that I can accomplish hard things. But more importantly, being that example for my son and seeing him so proud of me is the greatest reward.
When was the last time you set a goal for yourself and actually achieved it? Seriously? I think we live in a constant state of the intention to set goals and achieve them but then life happens and those goals become more distant and harder to reach.
But what if you actually went for it?! No excuses. No limits. Just determination and grit to get it done. Don’t let fear be the reason you don’t go for it. 2 years ago I literally could NOT run a mile. When I could finally run a mile and then 2 miles my first goal was to complete a 5k. I never dreamed of running a half marathon! The sky is the limit. Go for it! I believe in you! #seaturtlehalfmarathon#gulfshoresalabama#1sthalfmarathon#momswhorun

Do we eventually just become OR are we always becoming the next thing, the next journey the next evolvement?
I am someone who is becoming and quite frankly always will be. Today I am grateful to have the ability, the compassion, the patience and openness to want to evolve in all the areas of my life. Life hasn’t always been this way nor was I always open to receive this energy.
I think part of the problem is when we lack to realize that we are always BECOMING and we are always evolving. Usually there is always some blockage in our lives from our past that limits us from reaching that point of evolvement and therefore we remain stuck. These blockages create fears, insecurities, lack of self love, lack of confidence and more. These are all resources for success in our evolvement.
Truth is we all need to evolve in all parts of our lives to be better human beings, better parents, better friends, better partners, be better emotionally, physically and presently.
Why is this so hard for most of us? ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ #becoming#grounded#evolve#fears#growth#mindfulness#committed#selflove#fightforwhatyoulove#trusttheprocess#trustyourintuition#whoareyou
Through the years I have ALWAYS been an “I’ll start Monday” type girl. I would eat like crap the whole weekend using that excuse that once Monday came around I would change my ways and get back on track. This soon turned into a vicious cycle of striving for perfection Monday-Thursday and then completely losing control Friday-Sunday. Which then turned into “it’s taco Tuesday, a few beers and some tacos won’t hurt” and “Sure I’ll come over for wine Wednesday, I’ll just have wine for dinner to save some calories.” I didn’t realize how unhealthy this was and how much I taking step backwards from my goals. Working out when you “feel like it” is not what will set you apart and push you forward. Eating right (or not eating at all) on Mondays after a weekend of bingeing is not a quick fix. Staying disciplined comes from small choices made every day that, combined, change everything. So, as much as I would like to sit on my fanny with popcorn and watch the Bachelor tonight, I am forcing myself to stay committed and you can find me at @the12movement •
I used to use anything as an excuse to not stick to my routine.
That changed because of disciple.
We are on the road because the hubby is doing shows in AC, and last year I would have loved to use it as an excuse to eat poorly and be lazy.
Not to say we didn’t relax...but I decided that I deserve my best even when on the road, and trust me I indulged as well. It’s all about that balance.

Together we are stronger and together we shall conquer anything we set our minds to. I love my little family and can’t wait to grow it by one (maybe)in a few years. P.s. ▶️Don’t mind DJs face, daddy decided it was okay for him to “try” a cookie 🍪 . Ya que! -
Here’s a variation of a shoulder pressing movement to add to your bag of tricks 👻. Focus on keeping the tension on your front deltoids by not fully extending at the top of the motion, you can really play around with time under tension with this movement by shortening the range of motion to set your shoulders on fire. Embrace the burn! 🔥
