Warming up should be an essential part to ANY fitness program. Every morning I take the class through a warmup lasting usually about 10 minutes. The intent is to increase their heart rate, get their blood pumping, and to prime their body for the movements they’ll be doing that day.
This doesn’t have to be complex, and you don’t need anything more than 1-2 pieces of equipment, if that. Just depending on what exactly you’ll be doing that day. As long as you are getting your body ready for the movements ahead or “primed”, then that is all you need.
If you’re any kind of Fitness trainer or coach, and you DON’T implement some sort of a warmup? Then you are putting those who are being trained by you at risk for having an injury. Take the extra 10 minutes to get them ready, both mentally and physically for the workout ahead!
If you train by yourself, then I’d also highly recommend adding in some sort of a warmup prior to your actual workout, regardless of what kind of workout plan you follow! Try it out for 2 weeks and just watch how much better you’ll feel during your workout!
Be safe with your warmups and your workouts, but have fun at the same time! Have a good Tuesday everyone!
Breaking the mold one day at a time. It all starts with a step. If you’re waiting on motivation first, stop. Motivation comes from progress. If you never take that first step, progress can’t happen, therefore the motivation will never come. .

A girl at the gym today came up to me and told me I inspired her due to my drive but also my focus on more than matching my clothes (I was a hot mess at the gym this morning... didn’t match at all!) and lifting the weights and pushing myself with ugly faces for just one more rep. That to me is a win and makes it all worth it. I used to HATE going to the gym because I would compare myself to all of the fit girls and assume people would look at me like what is she doing... As I prepare the next 5 weeks for 3 shows in 3 cities in less than a month, I will use this compliment to drive me to keep going and know it’s worth it. I’ve wanted to quit so many times and have cried because I just want one more bite (especially @nutsnmore#birthdaycake on a chocolate rice cake 🤤). I’ve had no energy at times and have no drive to leave the couch but I’ve have amazing support and people who remind me I’m as strong as I allow myself to be.
Thank you to all those who continue to push me and support my goal to not only hit the stage this time around, but actually compete as a top athlete! 💕
It's not easy. If it was easy, there'd be no Denzel Washington.
If it was easy, there'd be no Dwayne Johnson.
If it were easy, there'd be no Kai Green.
But not only that, if it were easy they'd be no Lennox Lewis.
If it were easy, there'd be no Muhammed Ali, no Tupac Shakur and no Jermaine Cole.
If it were easy, there'd be no Ronaldo.
So, keep working. Keep striving. Never give up. Fall down seven times. Get up eight. Without commitment, you'll never start. But, more importantly, without consistency you'll never finish.
Ease is a greater threat to progress than hardship. So, keep moving, keep growing, keep learning. -
See you at work.

Back poseeeee! ✨
Was stiekem toch best nog wel spannend, maar think I still got it!
Motivation on pointtttt. YAY! ❤️🔥 #illbeback#bikinifitness#teammiro#nbbf#ifbbnederland
