I woke up with the happiest feeling in the world♥️ Today was XC, Tigger and I’s favorite🤩💙 —
I walked into the barn ready for the upcoming day and I could tell Tigger was ready as well🥰When he was on the cross ties he only needed a little bit of a brushing because he again hadn't rolled the night before (lucky for me)😂 I braided his mane and by the end my fingers were swollen and sore but the braids were worth it because I think they were my best work. I put some show sheen and shoe polish on him before put my xc gear on. I wore my favorite xc matching purple set even though it is a Valentines show🤪 Once I had put Tigger's tack on I walked out of the barn ready and excited for our upcoming run. ––
Omg Tigger surprised me today🤩💙 I knew XC was his favorite but never in a million years would I think he could go that fast😇 As soon as we left the starting gate Tigger took off at a full straight gallop almost making me fall off😬After regaining my balance I made sure to pace Tigger and not let him lose his energy by going so fast in the beginning. There were some big and difficult jumps on the run but Tigger flew over them like they were nothing. Tigger's favorite was of course the water obstacle😁 Picture above was at the beginning of the course when I was just starting to control Tigger a little bit after going faster than light and I have to say it's one of my favorite photos of Tigger and I🤗 At the end of the course Tigger went into a full on straight gallop to go as fast as possible🥰
After our ride Tigger was the sweatiest I had seen him in a while so I gave him a nice bath and platted his mane. I am so so proud of him today and how he wanted to get the job done🤩I'm so lucky to have a horse like him🥰 Tomorrow is show jumping and I can't wait to compete and see all the other amazing riders go as well💗💗 -

Road Trip 2019 Days 22-23: Atlanta ➡️ New Orleans ➡️ Houston.
I caught up with a grad school friend over some sushi burritos in a dope part of ATL, was in the passenger’s seat when my mommy got us pulled over in Alabama due to her insane reckless driving, got food poisoning from jambalaya I ate at a bougie restaurant on Bourbon Street, listened to a jazz band playing outside while an ambulance came careening down on Bourbon, took a wrong turn and saw drug deals happening while we were making our way back to the hotel, and then high tailed it to Houston.

What an ADVENTURE!!!! What started as an awesome girls date snowboarding at Brighton Mountain in Salt Lake City had me going on an amazing solo escapade 😅😅😅 Going up the Great Western, I loved that there were soooooo many glades along this lift line!
Little did I know that after @l0rix and I split after our first run, I would enter the BACK COUNTRY... Completely unknowingly and unintentionally, there were others around me, I kept being in awe of how creamy and powdery everything was!
I kept floating in and out of glades and just tons of powder, with the snow covered trees looming above, and so much PEACE around me.
At a certain point, I did start wondering where all the trails were disappearing and where did all the people go???? 🤔🤔🤔 I was having so much fun and enjoying myself, I didn't even realize that I hadn't seen or heard anyone in about half an hour, and then POOF!!! All of a sudden, I found myself amidst buried cabins, lights out, no one around... Where was I??! I heard a snow blower in the distance and luckily enough, the nice locals Zach and Carly offered to drive me back to Brighton!!!! I maybe ended up about a mile away. What!!!! Haha so they let me know I'd just been riding all back country, and now it's all so clear to me why it was soooooo EXTRAORDINARY!!!! 😆😆😆 Made it back in time for one last run down the Milly Express for some more glades.
So jealous that this is literally in my friend's backyard only about 40 mins away from home!!! Ahhhh I never wanna leave!
And for the next few days, definitely going to bring my GoPro, since my phone died during my trip and sadly I have no reminders of my little adventure besides in my memory.
Ah, now for some pho 😍
With love and joy,
think I might have actually developed a liking for XC recently..
(if synchronised running was a sport- we’d win)

🔥 8,239 KM 🔥 35 min 21 sec 🔥 14 KM/H 🔥
His ears are the cutest everrrrr plus this outfit is pretty great 🙈🖤
