A long awaited meeting 💜 This is everything. Thanks @grahamsfoundation for sharing. #preemie#preemiebaby#mom#dad#nicu#tearsofjoy
Our twin daughters Kyla and Emma were born at 33 weeks. My husband Skyler was on active duty in Kuwait, so I started the NICU stay for that first 12 days (now on day 25) alone, when I saw him I felt like I let out a breath that I had been holding for the entire 12 days. The girls have been right where they should be and we have had no major scares thank the good Lord. We also have 2 sons that are 3 and 21 months at home. As a mom splitting your time is already hard but splitting time between the boys at home and the NICU alone is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. The NICU nurses at Stormont Vail in Topeka are incredible. They aren't just that either, they truly are lifelines and friends. They have been kind, patient with my questions, they've even made scrapbook pages for the girls. I wouldn't have made it that first 12 days without them. They actually helped my husband organize the whole surprise. Him and his mom had been coordinating with them for days before the video had happened. It had been 7 months since I'd see Skyler and 10 months for our boys. We are still here waiting for the girls to grow a little more but they are healthy and we are blessed for that.
Ah! Lots of questions about whether adult cocoon dresses will be available tomorrow and that’s a big fat YES! 10 am tomorrow in Jet, Forest and Natural! They are the COMFIEST!

Smiling in the sunset 🌄 after their purchases at the S.E.A. Aquarium. Jaron bought the book about sharks 🦈 and Sarah couldn't resist the cute mermaid magnets activity box (she actually wanted to buy the princesses magnets but saw her brother buying aquarium themed stuff so she wanted to follow😂)
I found my ninja turtle in a box that I held onto for like 30 years so one day my kid could play with him... kinda cool #son#dad#photography

Raising a little man is quite literally—“the challenge”. It’s a challenge that we as fathers must take in order to be transformed into dads(there is a difference). Our duties as fathers don’t just pertain to clothing, food, and shelter.
It is our obligation to support the mental, physical, and emotional health of our babies. It’s time to turn the tables and show that we as dads.. CARE !! #dadsofinstagram
