Been snuggling with every soft thing I can find (or even a few prickly things) in preparation for Mom going away. She is having a surgical procedure tomorrow in NYC to get rid of those nasty tumors in her liver that haven’t responded to nearly nine straight months of chemo. I’m going to miss her, but I’m glad they are choking off those tumors. Listen to this...they are plopping jello into branches of trees (I think) in Mom’s liver that will stop blood from getting to the liver tumors. That makes the tumors die. At least that’s my interpretation. Look up hepatic embolization if you want the details. Adios bad boys! You mess with my Mom too long and you are done! Dad will be here some of the time and my neighbors are helping to care for me as well. Mom will likely be home by Monday. BUT FIRST... she’s dressing up and going to Opening Night of NETWORK on Broadway! She and Dad are even invited to the after party with the cast and their family and friends. A huge thank you to our friends Jane and @tonygoldwyn for inviting them.
