So tomorrow Ill be taking part in The Deadlift Competition @flyefit in aid of @pietahouse. 🌹 Such an amazing organization who've helped many hearts suffering, guiding them to the rainbow at the end of the storm. 🌈
Can't wait for a day of fun surrounded by the coolest of humans, doing my favourite thing. 🏋️♀️ Whether I hit a PB or not isn't hugely important to me but if it happens, happy days 😍
More importantly, tomorrow will be a huge milestone for me mentally. Its a highlight of the battle I've already won and came through the other side with my head held high. I've never been so grateful to wake up each morning, proud, happy, full of life & excited for the day ahead ❤️ Tomorrow is a day to be grateful for how far I've come over the past few years and to prove to myself that I can do anything I put my mind to. ❣️
Mindset is everything, and with faith, hope and love, you'll get there. Promise 😙💞 #lifeistobelived#nevergiveup#suicideawareness#mentalhealth

A clip from a podcast I laid down with @mindbodyhoops last week. I had an amazing time chatting jump technique, training and athletic mindset. Max is a very talented guy who is clearly passionate about helping hoopers grow as athletes and most importantly, people. .
Take a couple minutes and 📲 head over to @mindbodyhoops for the full episode. You can also find it on Apple Podcast App! Thanks for having me on brother! 🏀

Very rushed session
Comp Deadlift - I expect this day to suck (and it did) so not too upset
225kg/496lbs x3 set 2/4
232.5kg/512.6lbs x3 set 3/4
Feet up Bench - I guess I'll try to pause these
130kg/286.6lbs x3 set 2/5
115kg/253.5lbs x3 set 5/5
Feeling a lot less fatigued today, moved a bit more better-er.

Missed a day due to the snow and exams, so I did two days together. Honestly it wasn't too bad which shows that my work capacity is increasing. I just hope I don't have to do that again lol.
Alright sorry for the lack of posting i have taken these past months to focus on school and bulking and it’s been GOOD! So this is the end result of my bulk and I know I look a little chub but that’s alright because I got pretty big 💪🏻😁 so anyways I’m starting my cut now and I’m going to try and post more ✊🏻
Nobody cares, work harder.
Absolutely love my new @americanmademuscleco shorts! I love this color and they’re the perfect length. Use abi15 to get yourself some!

Sorry yal, but deadlifts are still my least favorite. Sets of 5 from earlier today

I swear Deadlifts might be the most butchered lift i see on the gram and in the gym these days. Technique is key folks so drop the weight sometimes and perfect the craft.
5x5 Deadlift *pause at mid shin @ 405
4x10 Close Grip Pullups
Conditioning piece: *1min work + 1min rest for 11 mins
6 Kettlebell Clusters @ 50 each hand
Then burpees for remaining seconds (fuck burpees 😓💀)
HOW TO SET YOUR DEADLIFT UP FOR SUCCESS!
What’s up, Achievers?! @jasonlpak here and today I wanted to talk about deadlifts! The interwebs is a magical place where people feel like they can call you out and judge you on your technique - even when they don’t know what they’re talking about and when they have no business to in the first place! "Your hips are too low! Your hips are too high! Bad form! That’s not how you do it!” Even I get it anytime I post anything deadlift related, because my hips tend to be on the lower side of the spectrum. It doesn’t bother me at all because there are really only three criteria that matter:
1️⃣Is the implement you’re using directly in the middle of your foot? If so, it is placed in the middle of your base of support giving you the best leverage to lift it off of the floor.
2️⃣Is your armpit or are your shoulder blades aligned with the implement that you’re lifting? If so, you’ve stacked yourself appropriately - again, giving yourself the best leverage to lift the implement off of the floor.
3️⃣Finally, your hips need to be in a “hinged” position. Meaning your hips need to be above your knees, and your shoulders above your hips. As long as you meet the first two criteria, your hips can be anywhere between these two extremes and that means that there is a wild variability amongst lifters and their preferential hip positions!
Proper coaching is all about giving guidelines and recommendations, and then letting the person find what works best for them within those guidelines. The reason why things can get so complicated is because so many coaches and social media accounts get so emotionally attached to "their way" and what’s worked for them. There is no one way because everyone is unique with different levers, mechanics, injury history, lifting history, preference, etc.
We hope this video helped you out! Let us know if you have any questions in the comments section below. Until next time, Peace, Love, and Muscles! ✌️💙💪
