This is a hand carved cow skull from a tiny village in Ubud, Bali. Before I booked my flight to Indonesia I knew I wanted to bring one of these beauties home with me (such a fragile carry-on!)
During my trip, I hired a tour guide to take me to the village that specialized in this type of work and spent a few hours picking the perfect one for my home. The engraving on this particular skull is Ganesha, one of the most popular and worshipped dieties in Hinduism. He is known as the remover of obstacles and the God of Beginnings. A great energy to have in the home. 🙏🏽
