Often balance in the context of healthy lifestyle is talked about with the idea of everything in moderation. .
The idea that you can consume a moderate amount of any food and that constitutes a balanced approach. .
But we don’t need to consume animal products, they don’t provide us any micro or macronutrients that we can’t get from other foods. .
So what gives us the moral right to breed them into existence in their billions, only to subject them to cruelty, suffering and then slaughter them! .
We consume their bodies because we have been led to believe that we need to for nutrients. This is simply not true. .
Animals give us nothing but love and we take from them everything! #vegan#loveanimals#healthylifestyle
Reducing our use of single use plastic is the absolute least we can do to help our oceans and the marine animals that live there.
Our on-the-go Ethical Lifestyle Toolkits are perfect for helping you do just that.
Saving our planet is no longer a want it’s an absolute must.

Though they resemble chunks of coal they taste like brownies and were eaten in their entirety by my 3 toughest critics and that folks is why we don’t judge books by their covers. #foodsthatmakeyoufeelgood
The Blue Petra jumpsuit from @knownsupply ⠀
Travis Hartanov and Kohl Crecelius started Known Supply in 2017. They had a vision of building an accessible clothing brand that would be inclusive to all those who wanted to have social good woven into their operations, but didn’t have the knowledge or resources to do so. Each Known Supply piece has a signature accompanying it enabling their customers to be introduced to the person who made each product. Known Supply apparel is available to those who value people and want to see their stories brought back to the forefront of the conversation.⠀

Between 1961 and 2010, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from livestock farming increased by 51% globally. Nitrous oxides and methane emissions - from manure left of pastures for example - increased by 57% globally during this same period.
Livestock production alone was in 2014 responsible for 9% of world total GHG emissions, which is very large from one single source. That is approximately one tenth of all GHG emissions and 74% of this tenth are emissions directly from dairy and beef cattle.
The increase we have seen is partially due to the fact that livestock farming increased by 117% in developing countries. However, in developed countries this number decreased by 23% during this period. It is important to note that these numbers do not take into account imports.
These numbers do not lie, and decreasing meat and dairy consumption would clear up large areas of land that could be used for reforestation. It is clear that it would help our planet to decrease our global meat and dairy consumption.
Question is, should it be left up to personal choice or should governments implement consumption restrictions or land use restrictions? It is not an easy question and there is no one right answer, but it is a discussion we must have as we are running out of time.

We've had a lot of comments and DM's about our new guppybags so thought we'd answer some of them here!⠀
Q. What happens to the build up of micro fibres in the bag? How do you clean it?⠀
The bag is self-cleaning, you just need to remove the released microfibers on a regular basis and place these in your landfill bin. This prevents microplastics from entering water sources and polluting the ocean that eventually leads to ecosystem breakdowns, for this reason do not rinse the bag under running water! ⠀
Q. Are they big enough to hold a lot of washing?⠀
The guppybag comes in one standard medium size (50×74 cm / 19.7×29.1 inches). This size is the most efficient for household use! ⠀
Q. Should you also use a guppyfriend to wash non synthetics also?⠀
No- Non synthetics do not release plastic microfibres so there is no need to use it for them! ⠀
Q. Has a clinical trial been done to see if it was effective?⠀
Yes! The bag was tested for a period of three years by scientific institutes, universities, retailers and representatives of the outdoor- and fashion industry. These tests serve as a basis for offering the Guppyfriend Washing Bag to their clients as a temporary solution for micro plastic pollution. If you'd like even more in depth info about the trials drop us a DM! ⠀
Any more questions comment below! ⠀
