⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our ‘last of London’ bucket list turned into more of a 'places we want to eat before we go home' list ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ From old haunts to new favorites, we managed to get them all on the calendar — including our first ever *** Michelin star restaurant 🇬🇧
Full disclosure… we had dinner at McDonald’s the night before and loved that too 🍔🍟
🐲 Visit to Guangdong Museum 🐲
I must admit we were quite disappointed that the history section with the dinosaurs was closed (especially the kids) 🦖 But the fans saved Nahla’s day and the beautiful architecture mine 👌🏼 Burger King was defenitly the highlight of the day for Chloè (and Jens as well) 😛🍔 Can you find the Danish flag in one of the pictures? 🇩🇰
Today I went to Number 4 Park where I often watch local Taiwanese people play spinning top. One nice fellow even gave a spinning top as a gift. You can hear how happy I was to get it into the bowl for the first time 😂 next up, bottle cap
So much appreciation for the steps in my life that led me to where I am now. Back 5 1/2 years ago when I decided I was moving to China to follow my family, I had no idea where that one split second choice would take me. It was only supposed to be an 18 month journey abroad to get cultured. But it turned into a 2 year China experience then a decision to follow my life long dream (previously thought to be too good to be true, literally since I was 6) of living in Australia... AUSTRALIA! And I haven’t looked back. Not once. You know your life is going the way the cosmos has planned when you feel at peace with everything that you’re doing. I have never felt so at home in a country like this. I’ve met so many amazing people and seen so many breath taking places here, and I can’t wait to pursue my future life here (hopefully😁). Cheers to all that’s led me here and here’s to what the universe has in store for me next 🍺 . #cheers#australia#australialife#coconuttree#findyourparadise#paradise#greener#lifeisgreener#beach#expat#international#brunettesdoitbetter#homesweetaustralia#choices#universe#thecosmosmademedoit
As most New Yorkers who hardly left NY, I thought it was the center of the world... then I actually traveled the world.
What are some places in the world that blew your mind? For me, it was places like Myanmar, Singapore, Egypt, Italy... there are more. For different reasons, various places became pivotal, life-changing experiences.
Baroque music is where it’s at, y’all.
There’s freedom in the rigidness of the style; the needed precision and purity in early music, which I am working on, will be what allows for spontaneity in the end; not just in the recap. 😉
