Principal shooting has begun for the independent feature film ' Maya ' . I'll be playing the role of Marco. Youngish in appearance but with a maturity. Has suffered great loss and shows it physically. Character has an undercurrent of “damaged goods” through moments of self-loathing and unease. Today was great, I felt that I was able to take my talents to another level. Lot's of praise today & I'm greatful. More pics to come in the upcoming weeks. Please visit my IMDD page & follow me. [Despite its usual, stunning visuals and emotionally affecting climax, The Hidden World may still has some charms left but the lack of new, inventive themes and ideas just make this sequel a more-of-the-same and indicates that this franchise has probably run its course] 🎞...go to #moviesmaniax for more review...

Great content by @reflexcinemaus :
"Here is another great example of modern front projection. This is a BTS featurette for the #TomCruise picture #Oblivion. Let me compare and contrast this example and yesterday's example from First Man. At the broadest level Oblivion took a very digital approach, and First Man a more celluloid approach. A basic dichotomy has been oft repeated film highlights have more gradations before absolute white and digital shadows have more graduations untill total black. This was once true, but is now fallacious. Digital can indeed see better into shadows (I'll leave the details of why for another time). But now digital sensors can in fact see farther into the highlights as well. The percieved difference is now an issue of halation (bloom) more than dynamic range. You'll see in the Oblivion #BTS that they used just a little fill here and there. They accepted a very low key look to let themselves both expose for, and mostly expose from, the projection. This is only possible with digital. The low key and low contrast lighting of the talent's faces would have quickly fallen into grainy blackness on film. First Man almost struggles with this. The cockpit scenes are very grainy despite their beauty. For a film set in the 60s this is a feature, not a bug. And First Man is the most convincingly retro film I've seen in many years. First Man accepts the graininess and exploits film's natural bloom quality to blast Gosling's face with faux sunlight. Oblivion is extremely clean and they use almost all soft light. They basically ignore the issue of projections' inability to make hard light, by not attempting a lot of hard light. Both films are very beautiful, and their respective looks fit their settings. I wouldn't hold back from a little true hard light. With lens diffusion digital can render highlights just as pretty as film. But Oblivion offers an almost perfect example of the great possibilities of combining digital cinematography with digital projection."

“It took me more than 8 months to be able to share my biggest most beautiful project....Becoming a Mom!
I was so scared to say anything because I needed to keep working, more than working I wanted to keep following my dreams and do what I love the most...being a director of photography!
As soon as I found out I was pregnant, all these job opportunities came, all the ones I was waiting for, the ones I dreamed off, and I couldn’t say anything, not even to my whole family and close friends cause I didn’t want any comment to go into social media by mistake. I knew that if I mentioned I was pregnant, or if somebody found out, people would hesitate and most likely wouldn’t give me the job cause I represented a liability issue, and that was the saddest part, hiding her, my biggest love, my miracle, what I feel the most proud of, my all...I kept it really quite cause I have a bigger reason now to keep going on, and give my all to my job, she is my inspiration and my reason to everything, I can’t give up, I want her to feel proud of the mom she has! .

Who do you want to see take home the Oscar for Best Actor??
Film Fact 🎬
Before filming Rami Malek sent a video of himself singing to Queen. When he finally met them, they hadn't watched it because it hadn't been downloaded properly. Rami saw firsthand their reaction to his singing.
