People ask me all the time how I stay motivated. Girl! I don’t! Some days can be a struggle and some days I am on it.
At some point the motivation turns into discipline to just show up every single day.
Before coaching I could talk myself out of it and guess what? No one would even know😂
But now showing up and working on my health is not only how I get paid but it also sets an example for my girls that are fighting to reach their goals! So you better believe I AM SHOWING UP EVERYDAY FOR THEM! Like I said before this is my dream job. Encouraging these girls to find their best self!
Today was just one of those days that I just didn’t feel it but you know what...I showed up anyway! I showed up for my team, for myself and for YOU! We all need that accountability in our life. Tag your person who keeps you accountable below and cheer them on!

33 days in the books! Yessss girl, 33 days and my body is changing. I cannot believe my online bootcamp and I have made it this far so fast! Time flies when you're having fun, right?
I have to report that I’m feeling ahhhhhhhh-mazing! So much energy and focus! So much love for the mind shift. AND, sooooo much sweat! I love to sweat. Yes, some days, especially Thursday's, I just don’t wanna do it but I get my mind right by thinking of the ladies in my online FITcommunity, my family and my goals and I press play anyway! Guess what? I always feel amazing on the other side of a kickass 20 minute workout!
Progress is progress no matter how subtle or huge the difference is. To me, all progress should be celebrated as a WIN if you are showing up for yourself every day. I beg you to STOP beating yourself up if you’re not “seeing” change fast enough or in comparison to someone else. Change takes time and we are all different. Here's a change in perspective that everyone needs to adopt. Are you “feeling” good? How you feel is way more important!
I no longer have jaw dropping big changes from start to finish BUT that’s because I choose consistency over starting over. Why work hard only to throw it all away? I've never understood that. I just know that I never want to go back to my before. Sustainability is my focus. Moving forward every day is my goal. That ensures that the journey never ends.
I'm 43.5 going on 44 in May. My fitness journey will never end because I never want to stop FEELING good about myself. It's a great feeling to FEEL good, young and energetic.

I mean... 😱😱😱 My friend Margo is amazing! These pictures were taken one year apart. In the first picture she was 6 weeks postpartum with her third baby girl. Since then she has lost over 35 pounds...all while working out at home and eating to fuel her body! .
I think it’s so ridiculous that we rush ourselves to get our bodies back after having a baby. I think it’s SO much more important to learn how to create a healthy lifestyle that fits in with your new life. Adding a baby to your family (whether it’s your first or third) is a huge transition. Your demands change! And the time you have to yourself has to adjust. But one of my favorite things is teaching women how, in the midst of working full-time or taking care of babies, to make themselves a priority. To make the most of the cracks of time that they have to workout consistently and eat healthy!! And over time...see huge results!! .
No quick fixes. No fad diets. No rushing the process. But I love helping women create a long term plan so that they can show up better as a mom, wife and friend!! Did you miss my last boot camp? I’m so thankful the weekend is here! I’m even MORE grateful for my accountability girls! I was struggling to get up this morning and pretty much had myself convinced I would do my yoga tonight when I got home. Then I got a text from one of my girls saying they just got done with their workout. I knew I just needed to get up out of bed and go do it. So 54321 and I got up out of bed. I’m so glad I did because I feel better now that it’s done. If it wasn’t for the accountability that I get everyday I don’t think I would be where I am today. It’s amazing how even a text message will keep you accountable!

Let’s talk rest days, even those claiming to be #teameveyday have days where their body is telling them to just REST
That was me last night, I’m fighting another killer cold and my body was telling me to take the night to rest so I did, I pushed back all my workouts this week so I’m just a day behind, but I can still get my full weeks of workouts in!
I’m not mad or frustrated and I won’t let it derail my progress. I will get back at it today, I’m well rested and ready to kick butt today!
So this is your reminder to take that break when you need to, but don’t let it defeat you! Be flexible with your methods and TAKE CARE OF YOU!
Doing what’s best for your body can be the hardest thing sometimes. I want to be crushing my program that I have been doing but my head is not allowing me. I have worked to hard to do that program and only half ass it because of the pain. So I have decided that I am going to do yoga until I get the pain under control. Then I will go back to finishing that program out. Is it what I want??? NO 😰 but I need to listen to my body and just get the pain under control. These past few days have been really hard for me but its time for me to put my big girl panties on and deal with it. So this morning I decided to get back to my favorite routine with my favorite people and do some yoga. It feels so good to just be back with them 😀 I’m thankful for this tribe of mine to keep me going 💜
I graduated high school with a 4.0, I received a college athletic scholarship, I graduated with my bachelors degree in journalism and marketing, I got an amazing job out of college in corporate sales, and then I completed my Master’s in business. Working hard has been the way I was brought up. And I always had big goals to climb the corporate ladder and make a name for myself. .
But after I had my first son, my whole plan fell apart. I couldn’t imagine leaving him with someone else. Being a stay-home-mom was never on my radar. But it’s funny his God changes our plans, isn’t it? And looking back, I feel like He created the path for my current career before I even knew I needed it. I loved fitness and athletics, I loved business, and I’m pretty determined. So when I heard about what a beachbody coach actually does, it felt so right. I get goosebumps still thinking about how it all came together. And now to be able to not only say this is my job, but my dream job and something I’m super successful at!! And it’s given be both...a way to stay home with my kids and an outlet for me!! I’m just grateful I took the plunge and went for it. .

Yes, I am quite aware that this is NOT how these are meant to be done. I just had to post the fact that I actually got my ass up there and did it. 😆 Especially after being told, “No, you don’t need to.” I never listen. Shocker. I put myself up there and I took myself off. I only did this just a few times but I couldn’t quit laughing and even though I was pretty secure in the boots I couldn’t help but think I’d fall down. I also realized that I have a ton of core work that needs to be done.
My point to this post, take time to have fun and try something new. I wouldn’t say to always do something you’re advised not to do. 😬 Have fun, enjoy life. .
Choosing your attitude starts with choosing your words.
How many times have you told yourself you cant do something and it turned out you were right? Imagine how the outcome would be different if you told yourself I CAN! Believing in yourself is half the challenge when striving towards your goals.
Change your mindset TODAY and clear your mind of cant! Whether you think you can or cant do something...YOU’RE RIGHT!

On the left, I was 33 and postpartum with baby 2. I didn't recognize the person in the mirror. I felt unconfident and uncomfortable in my skin. I was lost in this new body and so ready for change. I knew I needed to put my health and well being first in order to be the best version of myself for my young family. I was determined to put in the work and transform myself! The other day someone said to me, “but girl, you’ve always been skinny” .... I’m not one to be quick on the replies, but I’ve thought long on this one. .
I can’t even count the number of times over the years where someone has said, “you have no idea what it’s like” or “you’ve always been skinny” or “teach me your secret”. .
And everytime it catches me off guard because whomever that person is, has been quick to judge my journey based on the Chapter they see now. .
Do not compare your Chapter 1 with my Chapter 92. Just start. You are exactly where you need to be RIGHT NOW and all you need to do is take one step in the direction you want to move EVERY SINGLE DAY. .
Over the 7 years of having my kids I gained and lost 350+ pounds. I struggled with massive postpartum depression and anxiety. I was heavily medicated. I was going for counseling to help me heal the sexual abuse wounds from my childhood. My journey is part of my story and I wouldn’t change a single thing. .
I am where I am today because I choose to show up for ME every day. And as a result, my entire life is better. My partner is happier, my kids are happier, even my dog is happier - because I AM HAPPY!
You deserve this happiness too. And if you are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, I CAN HELP!!!

I had someone ask how I workout at home with three little ones. Well every day is different! Some days I get it done early in the morning before they wake up, sometimes they watch a show or play while I workout or sometimes they workout with me! 😜💪🏻 Its not always perfect, but it’s so much easier for me to stay consistent when I can just get my workout done at home! How do you get your workout done with little ones?

Here we are again, Transformation Tuesday! There isn’t a huge weight difference between these two pictures. Only about 5 lbs. But there’s a HUGE difference in mindset. On the left I felt self conscious and uncomfortable in my body. Today I feel strong, energetic, capable. My clothes are comfortable! I feel good in my body.
Is it a miraculous, overnight change? No, definitely not. It’s consistency. Getting up each day and choosing to move my body. Choosing to nourish myself with healthy foods.
The best part about it all? I get to share this with others. With you! The gals in my challenge group are seriously kicking butt and having fantastic results. We are talking pounds lost, inches gone! In '15, I became a wife for the 1st time, separated in '16, divorced in '18 and a wife again in '18. I am my brother's keeper, and my mom is my best friend. I've been an addict, been through bankruptcy, been through depression, been homeless. I'm still standing, a stronger version of my former self. 🙌
I love myself because of all of that, and because I know there's more to come. I'm excited to be a new, better, and even stronger version of myself everyday. That's who I am. Who are you? 💚

On the left - September 2017. Four babies, 458,965 pizzas. 6,347 waffles later. I was uncomfortable and unhealthy.
On the right - 4 weeks ago. I’m finally healthy and eating real, whole foods is second nature now. (Btw, there’s still pizza and waffles..just LESS.) Am I pleased with the progress? Heck yes! Am I done? Nope! I love this body that God created and I love seeing what it can do! 🥳
My biggest lesson in life .... stop overthinking and listen to my gut!
In five short years, I’ve gone from full time daycare where I looked outside hoping for a chance to play in the snow but being so exhausted by the time I got home that I never did ....
to today being able to enjoy a stroll with Maggie and T and soak in this magnificent white stuff. .
If I had been overthinking 4 years ago, I wouldn’t have this experience .... but I listened to my gut and am SO HAPPY I DID!

Living a healthy lifestyle is not about PERFECTION!
It’s about learning to wake up every day and deciding to put your best foot forward. It’s knowing you have the opportunity to fuel your body and your mind with the truth and to take care of yourself so you can take care of the ones you love.
3 tips that can help you change that MINDSET from trying to be perfect to just trying your best everyday!
1. Everyday will present itself with a struggle. Just embrace it, bring it along for the ride and know that it will pass
2. Stop trying to live this perfect whatever. Instead just make sure you show up everyday even when you might of fallen off the night or day before.
3. When you keep showing up even if it’s not perfect, shows that you are not going to let anything stand in your way!
So friend! Stop trying to be perfect. Instead wake up every morning with the intention to do your best and LIVE your best. #liveyourbestlife

Do you have a morning routine?
I’ve been playing with mine lately to try to find what is best for helping me stay focused on the important things.
Last year, there were many days that I was up at 5 or 5:30am to get my fitness in as I was learning discipline in that area of my life.
But then I noticed that I would go on with my day and never sit down to fill my cup with the most important stuff.
So…I’ve had to go back to the drawing board to make sure the most important things get done.
It is all about knowing your priorities.
-Write them out in order of importance.
-put them in your calendar like a business meeting that you just can’t miss!
Scheduling out my days by the hour has been such a blessing these past several weeks!
Do you have any tried and true methods for keeping the most important thing first?
(P.S. this also means I’ve had to let other things go! My house has an inch of dust and there is always laundry to be done but for now that’s what is working best for our family! Just don’t judge me next time you come over 😉)

As a fitness coach, we get to see transformations. Every. Day. They never ever get any less fantastic!! Brittany is also a fitness coach. We’re on the same team. I’ve had the joy of watching her transformation as well as become a coach. Because she saw a program that works and didn’t want to keep it to herself.

Do you like to celebrate little accomplishments? I know I do!! I’m all about recognition. And this little “climb” sticker represents two more weeks of workouts are done! 2 weeks, 6 days a week of making myself a priority! .
But honestly, it would have been way harder to stick with it if I didn’t have my fit community behind me showing up every day. Swipe left to see just a handful of the ladies in my test group who knocked out the “climb” phase and got to celebrate by putting their stickers on their step too! Working out at home doesn’t mean that you have to lose the community and accountability that you get from going to the gym. It’s actually the opposite. All these women are all different...married, single ladies, working full time, stay at home moms, you name it! And we all show up, support each other and cheer each other every day. It makes it so fun!!
If you have a second, can you give these ladies a huge shoutout for making it another two weeks! So proud of them!

Today I had another reminder about all the false crap we see on Social Media when my little munchkin asked if I would photoshop my face bc I had on no makeup and hide or alter my body bc I have some fat on my stomach....when I asked her why I would do that, she said bc all girls do. My reaction was WTF hell No!! And chelax I didn't say that to her😉 I said no munchkin mommy is not embarrassed by people seeing her with no makeup bc I am still beautiful and this Is what I look like and should not hide it and try and alter my looks be creating it....makeup is to add highlights to what you already have and do a little "brightening" not create a whole new face. Yes filters are fun, but if that's all you rely on you need to seriously ask yourself why. We all get wrinkles, dark circles, bags, acne, etc....its part of living and age so own that shit, do what you can with some nice skin care routines, light makeup for a little brightening and call it a day bc we can only do the best we can do and learn to love ourselves. 💞
This is me...no makeup, body fat & all. I have grown to love myself inside & out and not hide myself anymore. If peeps dont like it...sorry dont care and keep on scrolling✌ I am raising 2 young girls that I want to grow up loving who they are, eating and exercising to be healthy & strong, and not altering their appearances for the sake of trying to reach "perfection" bc that shit doesnt exist. 💞
Let's teach young girls to love themselves and stop comparing themselves to others. That it's ok to not cake on the makeup, hide imperfections with filters, and think that if they are not like the girls on the cover of magazines something is wrong...bc there isnt. 💞
Be a good human, love yourself and love the hell out of your body and life😘💕

Don’t let your kids be your excuse why you can’t work on yourself! I could have easily let this happen this morning. The old me definitely would have used this as an excuse. But instead I got up a little extra early and got it in. It helps that my workout was only 20 minutes long. I want to show my kids that it’s important to work on yourself no matter what you have going on. So take 20 minutes today and work on you!
Now time to be a busy mom! Which I absolutely love doing 💕 First up is Rys basketball 🏀 then off to a race 🐴 for Kam!
After almost a week of not working out and feeling like 💩I decided to workout today.

This time was different.
I didn’t need to starve myself.
I didn’t need to takes pills.
I didn’t need to try another fad.
I didn’t need another quick fix.
I needed to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle. I wanted to lose the weight & get healthier for good, not keep struggling or yo-yoing, but I had no idea how to do that 🤷🏼♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I needed tools to help me create new habits.
I needed the daily accountability.
I needed a positive, supportive, encouraging community that was in this with me.
I needed to make myself a promise & tell my family I was never going to give up on myself again, no matter what.
I had to be patient with my body.
I had to work really hard.
I had to learn how break life long habits.
I no longer wanted to be heavily medicated for depression & anxiety.
I no longer what to cringe when I looked in the mirror.
I no longer wanted to delete every picture I was in.
I no longer wanted to be embarrassed by the example I was setting for my children.
I no longer wanted to rely on food or wine to make my day better.
Friends I want to help you do this too! I want you to know how good it feels to be healthy from the inside-out. I want you to have the tools & support to learn how to do this for yourself. I promise it’s one decision you will not regret because YOU are worth the time & investment.
