As usual, I started my week off with hamstrings: they are CLEARLY my favorite to train.
This workout took about 65 minutes (including my fuckery at the end - I.e. kettle bell rdls) and burned almost 600 active calories 🔥🔥 AND with minimal cardio.
Ps: plz don’t yell at my kettle bell form this was my first time trying to clean - but any tips welcomed! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

It’s Monday! I’m post night shift and felt utterly crap (no energy, tired and lacking any ‘GO’) 🤗
So I needed some visual motivation... (I always find this helps get me off my butt and in the zone hehe) •
I don’t know who that girl is on the left (I mean clearly it’s me) but seriously I was so unhappy with myself there - hated being in a swimming costume that holiday and most of the time wore a ‘kaftan’ to hide behind. My little boy was 2 and I felt so embarrassed in the swimming pool - I could barely keep up with him and felt so self conscious - I cried quietly to my self a few mornings as I just felt so crap!! •
The girl on the right is me now - heck I ain’t by any means perfect - I’ve got my mum tum and a lot of stretch marks - I don’t have the confidence to wear a bikini again (yet) but hell im in such a good place. My confidence is growing, Im getting ‘me’ back and I wouldn’t batter an eyelid to go swimming with my boy anymore! •
It’s not just a physical change for me - it’s mainly mindset - feeling more confident and learning to love the skin I’m in 💛

1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts (about 2 large breasts), cubed into bite-size pieces
2 cloves garlic, pressed through garlic press
Zest of 1 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch or two black pepper
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon coriander
¼ teaspoon paprika
4 middle eastern-style flatbreads (you can use pita bread, as well)
Spicy Garlic Sauce (below)
½ cup mayonnaise, low-fat, reg, or fat-free
½ cup sour cream or full-fat, plain Greek yogurt
3 cloves garlic, pressed through garlic press
1 tablespoon tahini
2-3 teaspoons sriracha (I used a lot more since I like mine spicy, so use your own judgement!)
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch black pepper
Pinch cayenne pepper (again, you can use more, if you like it spicier)
½ teaspoon lemon juice

It’s halfway through February and maybe you’re already discouraged about your fitness goals for 2019.
You’ve made yourself a hundred promises that you haven’t kept.
You’ve tried so hard to stay on your diet plan, only to make one small slip up, throw the whole day away and insist that next week will be better (but.. it never is). You’ve set your alarm at 5am to get to the gym and have snoozed so many times, you don’t even bother setting it anymore.
On top of that, your weight hasn’t budged (or if it has, maybe in the wrong direction) and you’re more certain than ever than you will NEVER get the body you’ve been dreaming of.
Sound like you? Mannnn. I hear you. I have been there COUNTLESS. TIMES. BEFORE.
I’ve skipped workouts and struggled SO HARD to find the motivation to get a workout in.
I’ve stepped on the scale and felt the confusion, anger and pain of seeing it not change, pleading with it “Please, just drop 400g this week!”. I’ve struggled to not emotionally eat when days are long or hard or I’m frustrated.
I feel your disappointment from here.
But please do not give up on yourself.
