Attempted an ice bath, wimped out and alternated keeping my legs in and just soaking my sore hips. It was so cold I didn’t even realize there wasn’t enough water to cover my quads. The dumb things we do.
Yesterday was the last training run of my marathon build up (20 miles, nice and slow). Today begins the taper, in hopes of peaking in two weeks at the Myrtle Beach Marathon. I’m feeling good about this one but not putting too much pressure on myself since it’s just been 4 months since my first marathon. My goal is to just stay consistent and not cramp up this time. If I can manage that, I’ll definitely finish stronger and faster than in Philly.
Getting in that Saturday treadmill workout, watching some UL basketball and dreaming about being in Puerto Rico tomorrow.

Don't forget to take time out from your marathon training for puppies. Nobody mentions it in their training plans, but it's v important. Crucial, some might say.
Highly recommend surrounding yourself with amazing women and puppies. Men? Arm's length. 🧐
