So today I did something terrifying. In the first pic I look fine but I'm freaking out a little. I'm wearing a muscle tank out into the wild (gym) where I can't be flexing always. To most this doesn't seem like much, but to me it fucks with my body dysmorphia and makes me hella self conscious. I have tiny arms compared to my big body, lots of loose skin from losing tons of weight, and hella side boobage that is usually covered by shirt. I can rock a tank in yoga but no one is looking at me in there, everyone is too focused on themselves. But here in the gym at prime, post-work rush hour, everyone looks at everyone. The reason I'm kind of smiling in the first pic is because I'm excited to push myself out of my comfort zone. The reason I'm smiling in the second pic is because im actually doing it! Still slightly scary but I'm happy to be uncomfortable now! You don't have to do something that scares you EVERYDAY...but try doing something spooky once in a while. Life's too short to be complacent. Get Comfortable being Uncomfortable. .
I wanted to share a non-scale victory that I had this past weekend:
Brian’s Valentine’s Day gift to me was taking me to Lululemon to buy a pair of leggings 😂
I’ve never been in one of their stores before and had never tried on their stuff, so I grabbed a size 10 since that’s my regular pant size.
I came out of the dressing room, and told the employee helping me that I think they might be too big 😳
She was like “oh yeah, those are definitely too big,” and grabbed me a pair of 8s 😭😭😭 Guys, I’ve never worn a single digit size my entire life!!! I remember wearing an 18 at one point before I started my journey, so for me that was a very proud moment!
Small changes over time, building daily healthy habits, and changing my mindset have been very powerful tools for change for me over the past few years. I’ve finally achieved a sense of balance: no more fad diets, restrictions, or unhealthy pills/wraps/supplements.
Feeling good physically and emotionally (and bomb in these awesome black leggings 😉🤩🤪)
THE number one question i get asked from new clients is “How long will It take to see results?”
My answer is always 100% dependent on your level of commitment.
Whether you’re starting a workout routine, opening a business, or going to school. It all relies on your commitment.
It is totally okay to not be 100% committed to certain things. Not everyone has to be an elite athlete or a body builder.
You have to find a level of commitment that fits YOUR lifestyle that YOU’RE happy with.
Recently, i took up yoga and ill be very honest and admit I’m giving it about 20% going once a week and that’s okay!! I know my results will be very slow, but progressive as long as i stick with It.
Find your comfort zone but always keep in mind; if you want to reach the next level you MUST reach levels of commitment that make you UNCOMFORTABLE!

My blood pressure has been extremely low, which has caused me to fall back into old patterns of isolation. I recognize this and I know that I have to do something about it before it consumes me. "When you cling to old ways and sameness, you resist My work with you. I want you to embrace all that I am doing in your life."
My husband ALWAYS says "Embrace The Suck". I used to despise when he said this. Nowadays, more often than not, I appreciate it. I am going to call my Cardiologist tomorrow and let them know what's going on. I no longer allow my feelings to consume me. I have solutions today. .
"It is easy to make an idle of routine, finding security within the boundaries you build around your life." I enjoy routines. They comfort me, I no longer want to be miserable and comfortable. I make the choice to get uncomfortable. That's where I find the most magic. Happy Sunday!

I don’t typically post gym pics because first of all they’re gay, no one really gives a shit if you exercise or not and lastly I’m insecure. But then I’m thinking to myself, wtf am I so insecure? Or is it because I have stretch marks, breasts that clearly fed two babies and fat places I care not to have it... probably a little of both... but fuck it! throw me in a room with pilates reformers + tell me to pulse my leg an inch up & down for about 1000 reps, & i look like ive never worked out a day in my life. i stepped waaayy out of my comfort zone with this @beyondstudiosokc class last night. yo girl needs to work on her flexibility, lesson learned.

Today at 2:30pm Hawaii time, my team of 11 friends will run the #hokurelay 134 miles around the island of Oahu. We’ve raised over $5000 as a team for local charities and so far as a group the community of runners has raised over $125K 🎉🙌🏻 .
This is my first relay race and although the weather has been cold and rainy I’M EXCITED! If you’ve followed me, you know I’m not too much of a fan of running! However, I’m a firm believer in challenging yourself and doing things outside of your comfort zone...so running it is, for me! .
