It makes me laugh a little, when people want to pull away from Amazon with the assumption that their margins will automatically be higher.

When it's already starting off like a Monday 🤦♀️🤦♀️ snooze all 3 of my alarms without even realizing it so it's a dash to get my workout in and then get all the things done.
My body needed major stretching today.... and the kids are home from school - so I turned on the yoga studio part of the program I use and did Yoga for Runners this morning. These stretches were some of my favorites today.... felt so good to stretch my quads, Achilles, calves, lower back and hip flexors..... there is nothing like a good stretch - especially when everything is tight. Soooo happy happy Monday!! .
Don’t over think it! How many times do you second guess yourself? Make things too complicated? Have you ever realized what’s holding you back...
Is usually yourself. Not the people around you but your own mind.
Are you looking to make a change? Pay off some bills, start a new career, get out of a rut, lose weight, be happy? What’s holding you back from making a pivot and taking a chance? What if I told you it’s ok to try it! Just try it! What’s the worst thing that can happen? And would it really be so bad? Don’t get caught up in the what if it doesn’t work but how great it will feel to succeed!
Life is passing you by... every single day and you need to get out and shake it up! Get what you want! Try it.. it feels really good! 💕
Mindful Monday Tip:
Devote short chunks of time to a big task and do as much as you can in that time with few expectations about what you will get done. You’ll have less work to do to complete the task, and it won’t seem so huge because you’ve punched holes in it (like Swiss cheese). In short, it’ll be easier to complete the task because you’ve gotten started and removed some of the obstacles to finishing.
Find a way to approach your to do’s in a way that’ll work for you.
Sometimes getting things done is just a matter of getting on the ladder and taking one tiny step at a time. .

Ignore Cody in the background lol but in honor of my birthday yesterday, I decided to make some new “new year”/bday resolutions:
1. Be kinder to myself
2. Become more consistent in the gym
3. Stop viewing foods as “bad” or “good” - they’re all just food
4. Stop procrastinating
5. Read more
Not all of those are “fitness” related, but they are health related. I want to ensure I take care of myself and that’s including the mental aspect just as much as the physical. I want to eat foods because they make me feel good and help my body feel happy too. I want to stop standing in the mirror and analyzing my body. I need to stop scrolling through social media mindlessly and devote more time to reading, writing, and being with friends and family. Here’s to hoping 24 is just as good as 23 and better for me health wise ❤️

Rowing is something I’m not great at.. I always thought speed when rowing but actually creating powerful pulls is much more effective!
So.. I have made an effort to practise my rowing more to try and get better at it so here’s a little conditioner I completed this morning.. 5RFT - 300m row - 12 DB snatches (I used 10kg)
Also clearly need to work on camera angles too🙃
Happy Monday kings and queens ! 👑👑 ask yourself this today, are you doing something today that’ll get you to where you want to be in the future ? Every single day counts, what you do today will show up tomorrow. Are you working harder to get to your goal? Are you waking up earlier? Are you going to bed later? Are you getting uncomfortable to grow? .
All of these factors determine how bad you want it! Not going to lie I woke up this morning still not 100% I could’ve just stayed in bed and played victim. EFFFF THAT!!! Your goals don’t go based off your “feelings”, it goes based off EFFORT and consistency!! .
Also, if you’re seeing this you’re blessed beyond belief! God didn’t forget to wake you up, now lets go out and get this daily bread and make him proud! 🤘🏼🍞💪🏼
It’s been a tough week, like really tough.... but I am proud of myself for staying strong and believing that everything will be ok.
The “old” me would have definitely broken down, felt out of control and basically would have lost herself.... The “new” me, stands tall, fights for control of my thoughts and my emotions and is there for my kids every minute of the day like I need to be!
What changed? How am I not falling apart now like I would have been before?
I take care of myself now. I have worked so hard at doing what ever I need to do to make sure I have the mental strength I need to not only survive life but thrive in it!!
Ava LOVED her first time skating!!!! She was excited, then serious (concentrating 😂) then happy again!! Luke was equally as excited for her! So sweet!

I’m still in some pain with my back and neck today, yesterday I was actually in a lot of pain so taking it easy and really hoping it gets better really soon because all this resting is out of my routine 😂
