These scars are all that I have been focused on. I have been making excuses and feeling sorry for myself, because of what I’ve gone through. No more. Today was life changing. Today I discovered my self worth again. I am so strong. I am so capable. And I am becoming better every single day. I deserve the world because that is what I give. I love my life and I love mountain biking!!! 💖

55 km au lever du jour. Seulement 4 degrés et des champs givrés en plaine (c’était joli à regarder, moins agréables pour les pieds lâchés sans leurs surchaussures). Après des semaines de météo capricieuse, serait-ce le retour des rides dominicaux ? 🚴🏻♀️☀️❄️🚴🏻♀️☀️❄️🚴🏻♀️☀️❄️🚴🏻♀️☀️❄️🚴🏻♀️ Got up very early to go ride before traffic gets too heavy. A bit crisp honestly (I might have lost a toe or two) but so invigorating ! Medium and long rides are back on the menu guys !

Motivation will NOT be there for you, pushing you to keep going during your entire journey. Especially before the "big results" start showing. I've had to learn this over and over and over for it to stick.

After 82 days and over 6,000kms, the inspirational @kathrynphi11ips made it home to Wanaka in NZ’s South Island on December 28. Kathryn’s trip (aptly named the 2018 #China Traverse) was an inspiration! When I was sick all I wanted to do was stay home, but I couldn’t because my job requires finding coverage if you need to miss a shift and with a staff of only five...that’s difficult to do. 😣
I kept thinking 💭 “I need to work my ass off, so I can make coaching my primary source of income and not have to worry about sick days or calling in.”
That freedom has fueled me to go hard and 10 times my efforts. I want to quit retail by the time I go back to school in the fall. It’s SO achievable, but it’s gonna be a lot of hard work. 🙌🏻

Firstly, yes, I know I spelled endorphins wrong ( #autocorrectfail 😒) but when it's in the 50's and the first time you've seen the sun in all of February, and have an afternoon at your disposal, you get a little too excited. it was a little chilly, it only got up to about 56 common in the shave much cooler so I put on sleeves and that helped, by the end of my short ride (because the sun sets really early in February as we know), I was regretting not having tights.
Still, it was the first ride with significant Hills I have done since my gallbladder surgery and I am feeling almost 100% so I had to do it. Bring on more Sunshine please! 🥰🥰🥰🚴♀️🚴♀️ #bikelife#girlswhobike#nashvillefit#trek
These shorts drive me insane! If they sit on my "tire", they're fine, but on my hips they fall off 😂 right now I can fit my thumb in there, but they pretty much sit against me comfortably. So using this as a NSV picture for a future #flashbackfriday! 😁
Taking a rest day today! I thought about it so much all day, but my body is just DONE. I was so scared to make the decision, wondering if it was an excuse, but I told myself I've rode 29 miles(!!!) in the last 6 days, I got this!
What I did to my body was terrible, but going extreme the other way won't do me any good either. Active rest day today (getting some cleaning done, etc) and looking forward to riding tomorrow 🚴♀️🖤
Did NOT feel like working out today. My body is so tired going from doing nothing to biking daily. Did it anyway because I'm tired of being fat 😎
Today is workout #4 this week. Just set my timer today and told myself I'd go to 4 miles or 30 mins. Ended up at 5.96 after 30 minutes, and yes I finished at 6 miles. I'd never forgive myself if I didn't 😝
