One of the most elegant cathedrals I've ever seen. Modest and majestic at the same time, however this is possible. Also it was used as a location for filming three Harry Potter films. It’s worth a visit!

The magnificent tomb canopy of Edward II (d. 1327), commissioned by his son, Edward III, in the mid-1330s. This is a rare example of a royal tomb outside of London, and the only one in southwest England. It's a dizzying forest of rippling pinnacles and crockets, with stacks of mini-tabernacles framed by ogival cusping. A tour-de-force of the Decorated style. Edward's tomb rapidly became a popular site for visitors and pilgrims.
