The last couple of days I have thought about that we are very good at preparing to live, but not very good at living. We know how to sacrifice ten years for a diploma, and we are willing to work very hard to get a job, a car, a house, and so on. But we have difficulty remembring that we are living in the present moment, the only moment there is for us to be.

Accountability and cool new 12 week venture.
Weigh in accountability today was 222.5. I have hired a coach for the next 12 weeks as I go through a lean out phase. .
I never really thought I would hire a coach for my fitness goals. I mean I have lots 180lbs myself and have kept off a majority of that for a few years so why hire someone when I can do it myself?
One thing I’ve noticed about myself is how hard of a critic I can be to myself. I think that is one of the reason lately I’ve struggled sticking to my own plans. I constrictor critic it and make way to many changes.
I’m looking forward to working with someone so I can learn from my coach and so I can also take out an variables of programming and modifying. Since I will b following my coach’s plan to a T nutrition and workout wise.
Not being in charge is a nice change of pace and I get to relay and trust my coach. .
There is something great about hiring a coach and I feel everyone should hire coaches and mentors for help with things you want to accomplish.
Using someone else’s expertise and additional knowledge will help push you farther in the direction you are going. Even if you are a “expert” in your field there is always more to learn and new ways of looking at the same situations. .
Program workout is still 6 days on an then rest day on the 7th and we’re keeping cardio to a minimum to concentrate on leaning out and maintain muscle mass.
I will be counting macros to a T and weighing everything out to stay consistent and make sure i am hitting the numbers I need to.
Time to get cracking tomorrow. First day with coach starts tomorrow and I have push day on the books to get done. Push day is one of my favorites.
Are you not entertained??? Big thanks to @maxoutboi@tansor3of3 For being there to give me encouragement and hope. The @midwestpowergym Babes are all amazing people and I am truly blessed to be part of a great team!
By far the biggest and most fun PR I’ve ever hit. Squat PR with 496lbs x1 at 145lb bodyweight. Long story short I attempted 496 this morning and got buried. Unsatisfied as always, I went back this afternoon with a better mindset. I don’t recommend doing this at all unless you know your body well. I am also not a coached lifter, this is my own audible. I am in control of my success and failures. I’m just the type of person that doesn’t let previous failures dictate my effort and attitude. I write my own script and that’s how I roll baby. All glory to God, my stronghold.

Quick Selfie 📸 Hope you guys are having an amazing Sunday!!
Even if the uber driver took us five minutes in the wrong direction while flexing to us his newest Ecko fit we all managed to make it for you brother. To many more blessing in the years to come papa. Happy Birthday Tim! 🎉
I usually don’t take kindly to those who out-shred me in a shot, but I’ll take it this time from @jasper4fit 😜
A shot after yesterday’s collab! 🔥 As you can see I’m still on that lean bulk life and in my strongest state I’ve ever been. Progressive overload is taking place almost every workout. But for Jasper, he is currently preppin for his first Men’s Physique show and is already looking diced as hell!
SBD UPDAE | STRENGTH PHASE .

105kg*5 ✅ I was supposed to do 4 sets of 5s but 2nd set felt RPE9.5 🤷🏻♂️ so for the next 2 sets I did 4s.
2.FLAT BENCH PAUSE

145kg*4✅ I did 4 sets of 4s and it was challenging. Hopefully I can pull 200kg on my competition day 🔜

📚❓Do you need supplements to gain muscle/ burn fat?
➡️People ask me what kind of supplements they can get to grow muscle / burn fat. I tell them➡️ You don't need any supplements! It is diet, training and rest! Most people don't have their diet in place that's why they don't get the results. Supplements should only be taken when your diet is on point. So the answer is; no 😉
❗Comment down below if you have questions. Or let me know if there is something else you want info on.

No, I haven't left this page completely, at least not yet🙃
Been focusing on other things lately as from January let's say. My fitness goal for now is to try to maintain my shape with as little effort as possible.
But wait, aren't you supposed to grind and outwork everyone? Well, it's just a matter of perspective.
I can finally say that I'm at peace with my physique at the moment. I like the way I look and more importantly, I feel great without having to calculate macros, kilograms, reps and so on. 😂
I think this was the 3rd workout in the last 13 days if I'm not wrong. It's safe to say that each workout is more enjoyable, especially when it comes to my joints health. I've also been quite ill the past couple of days so recovery was much needed.
I'm planning to take this page to new horizons so expect less topless pictures and more insights into my life📽🔜
My main focus in 2019 is business and relationships. Fitness has and will always have its place in my heart. But at least for now, it ain t my focus.
I'm also thinking to develope a workout program for people that want to stay in shape or progress at a lower pace by training twice or three times a week. Keep in mind: My diet is on point 95% of the time. Otherwise, this is just not obtainable without other stuffs.👊🏼
will see how this goes in the next weeks.
Happy Monday everyone, at least it feels like spring today 😄🔆

How’d you get into lifting weights? What was that like? Read below for a bit of my story
I cannot stress enough the importance of consistency, time, and the basics. Over pretty much everything else. Repetition. Again and again. The most boring concept. Often overlooked. Barely talked about. But the most important one.
One thing that’s always kept me consistent in the gym was that I fell in love with improvement. I’m grateful that I never had a goal physique. (I realize many of you do.) I was never interested in looking like someone else. While seeing the improvements one individual made in a year ( @phinewwind ) made me excited as hell to begin weight lifting one day for my own self improvement, soon as I stepped into the weight room, it was all about incremental improvements regarding my lifts.
I’m lucky as fuck. Coach Grush (is he still teaching at Bella Vista?) had us literally start with PVC pipes, Benching and squatting and deadlifting and power cleaning with PVC pipes til we deserved to touch barbells. He taught us warmups, the barbell movements, and conditioning work too. Man. Thank you for that.
We started with the basics. We nailed the basics over time, consistently. Form before progression of weight. Once I had been training progressively for 5ish years (while consuming adequate protein, although i knew nothing else about nutrition), then I figured, okay, let’s see what I look like lean.
I see too many people stressing the small stuff. In regards to both nutrition AND training — while not actually covering the basics. I see too many people adding weight to barbells when their asses should be playing with PVC pipes. Learn the basics, keep it simple, repetition after repetition, multiplied by time.

5 sec Pause Thrusts 465x6, 5 sets
(I used a stopwatch this time lol)
Do you like to train with structure/schedule/a specific program? What’s it look like? Or do you like to train based off feel? And what does that usually look like?
As for me, it’s always been pretty damn structured. Not necessarily always as programmed (modulated/RPE/RIR) as it is today, but always structured. Almost to a fault.
Little story time😂 Year 2013. When we all went to the UK for Gymshark’s first BodyPower Expo. After our first expo day, And after much struggling with a computerto create free day passes and this odd revolving door, we somehow managed to get into this certain gym (not sure if i can divulge the specific details, but it was hilarious). While all the boys were hitting upper body for a good pump for photos/videos, i was literally the only person doing legs because it was my leg day. Straight up eating butt (sumo deadlift), Inzer belt on, no fux given. We were all filming what we’d later find out would become viral af video/photos, and i was hitting legs not giving a damn about my upper body pump lol. Like i said. Structure to a fault 😂 Ok end of story time.
Today’s the last day of the final hard training week of my current cycle. This week has been absolutely savage. So many Volume PR’s. Days where I thought I was off but ended up PR’ing across every exercise. This was probably one of the funnest training cycles I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to share it with you inside something that I’ve been working on behind the scenes.
For everyone looking to get serious and take their training, their strength, their hypertrophy and aesthetics to the next level, this will be for you.

I feel embarrassed to admit it but for the past 2 years, my new years resolution was to get a 6 pack. I would say ive come close enough so I want to focus more on my home life this year. I want to improve my marriage and make our connection even stronger than it already is ❤️
Happy 2019 everyone.

All of my training has led up to this moment. I've prepared every shoveling muscle possible for tomorrow's snowpocalypse. I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the worst 🤞🏼🌨

So good to be home in my own kitchen. Cooked up a double cheese turkey burger with a large lite caesar salad on the side. .
A meal I might sometime buy out on the go that I decided to make at home more less money and less calories. Trying to eat more at home and take back control of my nutrition. Lets go 💪💯
