I haven’t heard this song in ages...but I still love it and the message is so true!
God can use us in ways that we can’t even imagine! Just being there for someone. Just being a listening ear. Being a friend but speaking the truth in love but not judging them or the situation. Choosing to find the good. Choosing to be kind.
I kneel down before you at this
moment. Please enlighten what is
dark in me, strengthen what is
weak in me, mend what is broken
in me, heal what is sick in me, and
revive whatever peace and love
that has died in me. This is my
prayer for me, my family, friends,
my enemies and even those
who hate me. Amen.
This seems to be where I am at in life.
And that’s okay.
Everything that happens is a part of God’s plan- even the things that are dreadful.
But God revives us and reminds us of the bigger picture.
Hopefully some time in the future I’ll know why, but sometimes you don’t find out until you see Jesus face to face.
However it all works out, it’s okay.
A hopeless case, an empty place, if not for Grace. 22 years ago @johnny_caldera surrendered his life to Jesus & I’ve been blessed to spend half that time watching him faithfully serve God. Whether he’s ministering from a pulpit, a park bench, a public classroom, a hospital, a grocery store, he takes every platform God gives him & proclaims truth. You love with truth, you give with truth & you speak truth. The Lord will repay each man for his #righteousness and #faithfulness . 1 Sam. 26:23. #HeWhoEnduresToTheEndWillBeSaved#JesusSaves
Fun fact: You are partially responsible for the salvation of your neighbours!
Alright, now, let explain a few things. "Neighbour", as defined by the Messiah, is EVERYONE you meet during your lifetime here on earth; not just the person who lives next to you.
The Parable of the Good Samaritan has taught us that already.
Now, how can I say that you're responsible for sins they commit, when the bible clearly says that everyone is going to give an account of their own life before God?
It's simple. God Himself told us that we have a responsibility to our neighbours.
In Ezekiel 33:7-9, God says:
"As for you, O son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word from My mouth and give them warning from Me. If I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to dissuade him from his way, then that wicked man will die in his iniquity, yet I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you warn the wicked man to turn from his way, and he does not turn from it, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved your life." That's a very serious responsibility that God gave Ezekiel. And you're probably here thinking, "Oh. Phew! God was just giving the responsibility to the prophet?" Well, what are you? Or have you forgotten that on the day of your baptism, the priest called you "priest, king, and PROPHET"? And you thought you were off the hook that easily!😂 Listen, diver, and learn. We are God's messengers, and God's messengers MUST be wise and holy! You must learn His law and what His Church teaches, because God expects you to carry that news to the world!
What's it going to be? Do you work as a diver, or chicken out like so many Christians in the world today who think that Christianity is a persona race?
As a father of 2 daughters, I love Proverbs 31.
I want them to read this constantly. God loves them so much and I want them to know it.
I want them to know what a Christ-centered young lady looks like.

If we want to bear fruit the way that God wants us to in this life, we MUST make it as much about Him and as less about ourselves as possible. This means leaving our personal passions and desires at the door, and stepping into the calling that God has for each one of us. Are you ready to take that leap? Are you ready to lessen yourself for something so much greater than you could ever do without God being in charge? All for HIS glory. All for HIS honour. HE deserves it all. Let’s go!
