We forgot animals were living beings with interests of their own the day they started being served on plates, not looking anything like animals anymore.
We think we are superior to them because of our “supposed” intelligence, forgetting that we are at about the same level as an anchovy on the food chain and that we are destroying our own home.
No other animals on the planet destroy their home.
We make legal what would be considered illegal and inhumane if it was done on human beings but allow it if it’s done to animals.
We complain about plastic killing marine life while we eat the oceans out and have no clue that fishes are sentient beings that can feel and are capable of so much more than we can even think of.
We want to justify in every possible way the habit of eating animals and yet we are not even able to tell or show the truth to our children about the process of making what we call their “food”.
I don’t have to lie about what I eat, I don’t have to hide anything.
My food doesn’t scream.
My food is a diverse and colourful garden, not a graveyard. #vegan#love#kindness#freeanimals#anonymousforthevoiceless#veganism#chooselove#bethechange#reflect#question#habits#food
Don’t let your outside be the prettiest part of you. 👌

I have encountered 5 very kind people today, for a minute I thought-people have come of age lately but wait a minute-these people knew I needed just about that today(but how?),I transnighted on a project and I had no energy for pressure...Thank you God for putting these kind souls on my path today, you surely take care of those you love,am awed!
So yesterday little Noodles had his immunisations 😥 he was doing well and I risked popping into the shop to grab something yummy to help me get through a possibly long night with a poorly boy.
Noodles woke up part way round and was not at all happy about being in Sainsbury's (who would be!). So I ditched the rest of my shopping plans and went to pay. Trying to rock the pram and pack bags, one of the staff came over. "Would you like me to rock the pram for you? I've got my own, I know how it goes"
I was really taken a back by such a simple act of kindness. THIS is what we need as women. No criticism. No judgement. Just holding space and offering supported.
You often feel supported beyond measure. You sometimes feel like a loner.
You often feel full of purpose and power. You sometimes second guess all of it.
You often feel rooted in tribe and community. You sometimes feel incredibly alone.
You often feel in the mix. You sometimes feel left out.
You often feel abundant. You sometimes see the scarce.
You sometimes feel ready. You often feel in over your head.
Stay human. Share the parts of you that make you unique, vulnerable. This is what your audience will connect to. This is how trust, like and know is cemented in a relationship. Better relationships mean better business. 💫
