Our wall racks in various sizes and colours. All handmade in our workshop using reclaimed wood, we also mix our paint in small batches so no two are the same. We then finish with several coats of wax for a beautiful sheen and to ensure durability for years to come 👍
My first job was working as a waitress at 15 years old at one of the only restaurants that existed in our tiny one-red-light-town in Pennsylvania. I was pretty bad at it, to be honest. If I remember correctly, I think I made $2.83/hour plus tips. I also worked a second job in the score tower at a motocross track. I saved and saved and still didn’t have enough money to buy my first car at 16: a 1991 black Geo Storm (Google it 😂), so I had a car payment.
Fast forward 6 years and I was coming out of college with $85,000 in college debt and landed my first “real” job as a high school art teacher making $37,000/year. I co-owned a house with my best friend @rachelspeelman and barely scraped by every month.
My point is that I’ve never NOT been in debt for the past 20 years. Worrying about money sucks. That burden and stress is something that can eat away at your happiness.
But I’m getting there. Through an openness to other business opportunities and what “work” can look like, I’m finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Finally getting to a place in my life where I KNOW I will be debt free and no longer worry or struggle financially. They say money doesn’t buy happiness, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. 😂 Am I right?
