How about this for a fancy selfie background?! I dropped my little one and her bestie at dance and ran from the studio. It was a much-needed change of scenery! I love running new places and don't get to do it very often. Do you follow the same running route?

|🏃🏼♀️3.50 mile run| Solid run this afternoon with my mini sled dog 🐾 training team 😜 — this was my first run in a LONG while & it took me a little time to get in the groove but overall I felt better than I expected this run. I’m also grateful I found a pocket in the day without rain! 💕 #RunningWithDogs .
🐾SIDE NOTE - this leash is absolutely in amazing! It really helps Mishka not pull as hard 🙌🏻 #NoPulling

This was the tale of two runs. I felt great until about mile 4.5. Then, my energy tanked. Bad timing as I had nothing but hills until I made it home. Probably should’ve had that gel I brought with me at mile 3. Or maybe I shouldn’t have gone out as fast as I did given the run I had yesterday. But, it was 64F when I started. How could I resist going a decent pace?
On an unrelated note, I’m super excited to explore brand new running routes in CT and NYC. I’m already signed up for a bunch of races in April and May. So, Constitution State, watch out!
Oh it’s Friday, and my workout is 🔥 tomorrow. I’ve been building day by day, week by week since CIM and just staying on this path. Numbers that intimidated me in December and early January now excite me.
When I announced my big goal to OTQ, I was a bit apprehensive. I don’t normally share or dream that big and I usually feel like people would say things like “Who is this guy and no way he can achieve that”. I was overwhelmed that no one in my life has said that to me. All I have been met with is people having more confidence in me than I had when I announced my goal. Honestly that encouragement has blown me away and I have heard it so much from people it rubbed off on me a little. I believed a bit more in myself because you all believed in me. That’s so powerful to write, we all have confidence in ourselves but what a reminder that who we surround ourselves can make or break our confidence too. If when I announced this goal all I heard was “No chance you can do that” I doubt I’d feel the same now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So thanks fam for your support and for coming along for the ride. My hope is that it’s enjoyable and I plan to write about my experience and everything that goes into it throughout this year over on @believeintherun
"Vedi, nello schema tu sei qui (e indica in alto a destra). Un maratoneta è qui (e indica in basso a sinistra)"
"Diciamo che non hai il fisico della maratoneta, più da Weight Lifter" "...ma io mi sento una maratoneta"
"lo so, ci lavoriamo"
