Being happy it’s a choice. It took me a long time to understand this. Happiness it’s not falling from the sky, it’s not knocking on your door, it’s not searching or expecting YOU. I believe we are all responsible for our hapiness. It’s our daily “job” to make ourselves happy. And yes, I fall, I have doubts, I have fears, but I manage, somehow, to get back on the horse and try again. The sun is always there, in our spirit, even when we don’t see it.
I have decided to team up with a charity quite close to my heart at the moment due to my own circumstances and that is Mind the mental health charity. so for every Aloe Lips purchased between now and the end of March, I will be donating 100% of my profit for each one sold. These little “pocket rockets” cost £3.07 each to buy and are by far the most versatile lip balm around!
Top 10 reasons to use Aloe Lips: 🌱 soothes, smoothes and moisturises dry lips
🌱 quick and easy application for burns
🌱 relief for insect bites 🌱 fantastic for cold sores
🌱 soothes sunburnt ears
🌱 use as a “magic stick” on children for grazes, cuts and bruises
🌱 protects sore noses when you have a cold
🌱 softens dry cuticles

“Somebody who betters you. Somebody who inspires and encourages you in love and in life, who pushes you towards your dreams and goals you’d otherwise ignore, who selflessly sacrifices their time to helping you become more courageous, well rounded and happy human being. That’s sacred. You hold on to a love like that.”
The face behind the account 🤭
So hey guys this is me 💃
I'm a 21 year old mother to three little ones!
A little boy who is 3 months old👶
A little girl who is 1 and a half.👧
And another little girl who is 4!👱🏻♀️
I suffer badly with depression and anxiety on a daily basis, I have had a long fight to get the where I am now! 💪
A quick bit of background... It started at 16 getting into an abusive relationship (I won't go into detail) everything went down hill so quickly within a year I had nothing and unfortunately I gained my anxiety and depression that is still with me to this day. 😔
After I had my first little girl at 17 I would love to say I got better but I didn't, the depression got worse and I had to seek help, once I got the help I needed things finally started to look up and I started feeling myself.😌
I then found my partner who went out of his way to pick me up and look after me instead of just walking away, we now have two other children and I am extremely lucky with what I have, but I still continue to get help because depression and anxiety happen to the best of us and it doesn't just go away no matter what your situation is it can get you and not let go. 😥
That's where the cleaning comes in🚮
Being able to control something is honestly so helpful
I can just disappear for an hour and clean, it calms me down and makes a positive difference to the day, it gives me something to look at and feel good about and that instantly boosts my mood and makes the day a little easier.🤗
As for this account it's something for abit of fun and I have honestly met some amazing people, it really is a community where everyone sticks together and that is so amazing!💖
So that's a little about me, I hope I didn't bore you guys too much😘
And remember to stick together guys, it can mean more to someone than you think💕
This is a really old photo, but it’s the only one I have of me on my precious bike... My next video over on my Facebook page is about getting yourself moving and being more active. It releases endorphins and can help lift your mood... Find what works for you and ideally make it fit into your routine. Cycling or walking to work is great for this, but if that’s not possible look for whatever fits best with your life and ideally it’s something that you will continue to do on an on-going basis. (Not just got a month and then stop it as you can’t be bothered) Try not to think of exercise as a chore and instead try and shift your mindset on it as something which is rewarding for you. Focus on the how great it feels when you have done it. #emmadickiehealing#mentalhealth#selfhealing#selfhelp#healer#healersofinstagram#healersoflondon#healerslondon

Anxiety presents in many different forms. It seems to affect more and more people, ranging from early childhood to the senior years. It is not only important to develop healthy coping mechanisms. It is of paramount importance to also address the root cause(s) of the anxiety. An incident in early childhood could culminate over years, developing into an unexpected anxiety/panic attack. Applying TRI (Traumatic Incident Reduction therapy) can be powerful too assist with, and to process relevant happenings.
Anxiety disables and impair functioning on many levels. It is possible to alleviate symptoms and to address root causes. No need to suffer unnecessarily. Support and self-empowerment is possible. ( infographic via Tumblr)

Imaginative and creative play is the VITAL for children's mental, emotional and physical well being. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love watching my kids exploring out in nature or creating new inventions with legos, Mobilo, Kidknex or Playdoh, building cubby houses indoor and out, designing picture story books or cooking up delicious meals in their play kitchen. It's interesting, fun and inspiring to watch these little minds being so creative.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In my clinic in a Children's Mindset & Wellbeing session we use puzzles, lego, playdoh, crystals, colour cards, musical instruments, mobile, craft, dance, brain gym, movement, mindfulness and sensory toys to help the kids feel comfortable, allow them to express their emotions, feelings and behavioural patterns, learn their strengths and acknowledge their needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a session I help children and parents with building resilience, emotional support, assist with anxiety, overwhelm and frustration as well as working with children with behavioural issues or disorders. I teach both the child and parent tools, strategies and techniques they can use at home to help with creating new habits and positive ways of living. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I also may do energetic healing on the clients to help balance and release emotional and mental issues and trauma, this is very safe and gentle. A session can also incorporate essential oils, crystals, colour therapy, sound therapy and flower essences, especially the beautiful ones from @childosophy they work a treat! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Healthy children make for happy and healthy adults. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So someone knows how to make Instagram cross fit memes. Prolly some fat cunt in a trailer park with kankles that would prolly guzzle the jizz out if a diet Coke can🤗 #mentalhealth

Kronik stresin vücut üzerinde olası açtığı zararlar
📌 Kan şekeri seviyeleri değiştikçe gün boyunca enerji seviyelerinde radikal dalgalanmalar
📌 Özellikle kan şekeri dalgalanmalarına ve hormonal strese cevaben karın bölgesinde yağ birikimini içeren ağırlık artışı.
📌 Azalan enerji
————————————————————————-
Arkadaşlarını etikleyerek kronik stresin farkına varmalarına yardımcı ol!!
Even though I definitely got stung by a jelly fish today (if you’ve seen my stories you know 😂) and have been bathing my foot in white vinegar so now I smell like a fish n chip shop 😂 walking on the beach is a great way to re-centre, change perspective and just take a chill pill 💊 what’s your calming tactic?
💙 Wellness comes from more than diet & exercise—when we feel #CONNECTED, we thrive!💪🏽
❌Studies show that people who feel #socialisolation can have higher blood pressure, higher heart rates, and greater incidences of insomnia, #inflammation, infectious disease, #stress, #depression and cancer.😐
✅On the other hand, having #socialsupport improves endocrine (hormones), immune, cardiovascular, and #mentalhealth!😊
📲 The problem with modern life...even though #technology has the power to connect us, we feel more isolated than ever. Most of our waking hours are spent working/glued to a screen, and not socializing.
💙4 Ways to Feel Connected🧩
1️⃣ Touch 🤝- Touch is our most fundamental way of interacting with the world around us, but many of us are starved for it. Emails, calls, texts, and social media likes can’t compete with the benefits of physical touch. Touch influences how we feel about our surroundings, it creates bonds, communicates #emotions, and it strengthens relationships. Why?... Touch releases #oxytocin, a hormone associated with decreased stress, feelings of trust, desire, and bondedness. Skin-to-skin contact (handshakes, #hugs, #massage, and sex) can release oxytocin and help you feel the beneficial effects of touch.
2️⃣ Build Deep Connections 🔗- Relationships that encourage deep feelings of #trust and #belonging have the greatest potential to better your health. Practice #honesty, openness, and #vulnerability when you interact with people in order to build trust and surround yourself with people who share your #values.
3️⃣ Consider a #Pet 🐾 - Animal #companions have been a part of the human experience for thousands of years. One motivation behind it: humans need to give and receive #affection. Before you choose a companion, consider your #lifestyle. Can’t commit? Volunteer at a animal shelter!
4️⃣ #Volunteer 🙌🏽 - This is a great way to build relationships with like-minded people who care about the same things you do. Helping others can bring you feelings of #satisfaction and #happiness and improve your self-esteem.

If you could get inside the mind of someone with anxiety this is what you would be swept up in. You would ride the waves of one thought after another and let me tell you, the water is continuously choppy. One thought leads to the next and before you know it you’re spiraling. Nothing makes sense and you dwell on each thought, dreaming of when it will all make sense, and just when it does another wave comes and takes you under.
For me my anxiety is very much health driven and losing my mother at such a young age just compounds the issue. I continually worry about my health, the health of my kids and my husband. I wrap myself up in the, “what if’s” and “what does that mean” with each twinge, sore muscle or racing heartbeat. Many times I have thrown myself into an attack, convinced I was dying or would go to sleep and not wake up. Couple this with OCD and it becomes all too consuming. My OCD revolves around safety. Double checking doors, alarms, plugs, the stove, etc.. Sometimes leaving the house can be daunting but I work with it, accept it in and move on. I have spent far too long fighting it and pushing back.
This is anxiety. It spins you around and feels like it eats you alive and truth be told, sometimes it does. Sometimes the fight is so exhausting it seems easier to give in. Sometimes going to bed is terrifying because you don’t know who you will wake up to the next day. Sometimes fighting your own body just sucks, but giving up is not an option. I know at times it feels like it is. All the trial and error with medications, oils, supplements, therapists, holistic interventions, but we are strong enough to find our way. The road may be long, but it’s not impassable. Anxiety is a feeling, a very real, consuming and terrifying feeling but it doesn’t have to be our reality. If there is one thing I have learned from feeling so out of control in my head is that hope is never lost, we just have to look harder to find it. The good days are so worth it. We are so worth it.
I hope with each post of this series that you too can know how worth it, and amazing, you are and that although the hard is so very hard at times that you are never alone.
This is anxiety.

Anxiety: trying to mess with my thoughts since 2004 🙄
. 📸 taken last week just after a panic attack. While these don’t occur often for me anymore, they still do even though I am the happiest & healthiest I’ve ever been. I practice meditation & mindfulness and am always looking for new ways to cope with feelings of stress. The fact is, anxiety disorders are not rational and they do not always listen to your logical mind. It’s okay not to be okay all the time.
Be kind to each other ✌🏼

just found this pic i took months ago - i think it was supposed to be for when i hit 20k followers but then i ate all the cake and just generally lived my little life and forgot to post it and by the time i remembered it felt weird posting a picture of me sitting on a chair in a sparkly leotard pretending to eat cake for no reason. BUT i feel like today is the day and um why do you need an excuse for anything when just BEING ALIVE IS A CELEBRATION RIGHT?! 🙋🏼♀️ #canigetahellyeah
PS: cake was gifted by @hollytreekitchen and it was bloody amazing 😍
