“Our place is your place — a place where you feel at home, even in a foreign country.”
This was the pillar of La Casa and our motivation to build La Casa like a home, rather than your typical hostel. Unlike many hostels, La Casa is a long term stay hostel, so guests do not come and go; but
rather, groups stay in La Casa for 2-3 months at a time. More often than not, they shop together, cook together, sight-see together, and slowly become another La Casa family together. And if that totally overwhelms you and you just want to be alone you can do that too! We have plenty of spaces to find privacy, relax in a hammock, or read a book. Ayampe may be a small town, but it has its own unique charm that seems to entice travelers, surfers, yogis, and artists from all over the world. At La Casa, we encourage you to immerse yourself in this small, coastal beach town... take advantage of our weekly, beachfront yoga classes, take advantage of the amazing surf just right outside our hostel's doorsteps, snorkel in the islands in front of us, take a hike in the jungle, enjoy amazing sunsets, but most of all, we encourage you to soak up inspiration from the beauty that surrounds you here 😍 Join us @ www.Lacasalongterm.com
The Icelandic highlands 🗻
Similar to something straight out of Lord of the Rings this area of Iceland is incredibly dramatic. It’s almost as if Iceland is inviting you on some sort of Viking adventure if your willing to take it.
I am OBSESSED with the idea of being a Viking in Iceland. If I could go back to any time in history I very well may just go back to that specific time.
