Dear @gwynethpaltrow , I need some clarification. “Too old to be in a suit” now- are we talking business suit? Ironman suit? Avengers suit? Bathing suit? Snow suit? Jumpsuit? Law suit? Because all you have done by making this ludicrous and ageist statement is discourage women who (albeit perhaps misguidedly) look up to you. You are 46. That is- too old to order from the kids menu at most chains, apply to the armed forces, join the Junior League and I’m sure many other things rightfully reserved for the childhood and adolescent crowd. What you are NOT too old for is doing whatever you like with your life. Being a bad ass, being powerful, being strong, trying something new, wearing whatever the hell you damn well please, being adventurous, picking up a new sport, showing that Hollywood isn’t just for the 20 somethings and reminding the world of the inherent value and extraordinary abilities of women of ALL ages. If you don’t want to be in the role- own it, don’t pass it off as “oh I’m too old for that”. It is clear that wisdom does not always come with age and even at 46 we can still learn and grow. Please use your platform to support women over 35 and remind them they CAN do anything they want and are never to old to try something physical. Age, is a number. Even without a diet pro, trainer, and millions of dollars, YOU can still do anything you put your mind to. Want to do your first marathon at 50? DO IT. Your first triathlon at 37? GO FOR IT. Take up distance swimming, shot put or 5ks at 70? WHY NOT?! Back in the saddle today and it felt great! Not as far as I'd like to go but I don't care I'm creeping up slowly but surely but at least I'm creeping up my mileage. And as you notice just like in running you have to run around the block or run around the street until you hit that even mileage well yep I still had to do that with cycling. I started off and got into the route and realized zwift wasn't controlling my trainer so I stopped after the first lap unplugged plugged in and that worked and oh boy the second time big difference when you're feeling those climbs or should I say that climb wasn't much of a climb for most of you but just starting back at it, ouch did I feel it! but added my mileage and realize that's a half mile off from 15 Miles so I had to jump on my spin bike and get that other half mile in LOL never stop ever right? Hope you all had a great day I did!
Trying to get in the right mindset for an hour of over-under intervals, followed by a 45 minute run (in the dark) 😪 not sure if I’ll get all that in tonight, but gonna give it my best shot 💪

That’s my mantra this season. When everything hurts and your legs are on 🔥 dig deep and remember you can’t have victory without a lotta hard work. Build the strength now and cash it in later 💪
