THE CUTEST. This shot is SO sweet, but also slightly freaky as I think my cousin really looks like my Mum here. I know, I know, GeNeTiCs, but please say it’s not just me that finds being able to see your relatives in each other a bit jarring?!

The blood moon of January 2019 is going to bring in all good vibes. In general, people will feel very passionate and emotional. You will be focusing more on those things that bring you joy, especially leading up to July’s blood moon. This is a significant moon to ignite change. Extra special moon for charging your crystals! ✌🏻✨🌙♑️🖤🔮🌝 #bloodmoon#bloodmooneclipse
This was one of my favorite moments from 2018. The year taught me so much that I’m still learning to understand, but it’s been filled with growth and release. 2019 is focused on self care, inner peace, focusing on my happiest self. Cheers to the New Year. May we all continue to choose to stick to our resolutions. 🥂🍂💫🏔🏕
This month @raincoastnutrition inspired me to take part in the Minimalist Challenge. Day 1 we parted with one item, Day 2 was two items, and up it goes exponentially until by Day 30 we part with a total of 500 items.
It has actually been easier than I thought! Our lives are already so filled with work, socializing and self-care that we don’t need extra clutter around the home to busy our minds even more.
I’m loving these T-shirts by @islandlifestyleco which are designed and printed locally. It is quality before quantity when purchasing clothes, and really everything else as well!

Nothing can beat a hike, winter or summer same same but different! 😆 Such a good therapy for mind and soul. And when you live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, you just have to enjoy it. When I m sad or mad, the mountains make me glad! (My daughter’s quote). 🏔 ❄️
Happiest of birthdays to my bff! @briink_leey She’s been there for me through so much that no one would have ever stuck with me by. She’s taught me to not care about what people think and that some days are just meant on the open road with a good song playing. I will cherish our friendship forever! Welcome to 26 boo! I love you so much. See you soon! ✨💕⛰📸🎶🖤💯
The harder the challenge, the sweeter the victory.. 😎💪 Tell me about your latest challenge? 🏆

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with Steve Irwin. I even dressed as the legend for Halloween 3 years in a row. Being around wildlife and exploring new wilderness always felt right and clear.
What are your favorite animals to spot in nature?
Outdoor girl from 🇳🇴 Norway. Being in God’s free nature gives us a new perspective and a deep sense of freedom. #naking is widely practiced in Norway when outdoor and considered as art. Thank you @thereseisabelleb !
How to get enough omega-3s for vegetarians and vegans?? This has been a topic of high interest to me because of issues around unsustainable seafood consumption. Most of us know that the omega-3s EPA and DHA primarily come from seafood and we also know the importance of these essential fats for cardiovascular health, cognitive development in the young and maintenance in the old, and the links to mental health. Overfishing and unsustainable practices are slowly draining our oceans of valuable food sources, so even non-vegetarians that are trying to follow a sustainable diet may be looking towards plant based omega-3 sources. Flaxseeds are one of the best sources, with 1tbsp whole flaxseeds containing over 3g of ALA, which with proper nutrition can convert in small amounts to EPA and DHA. Some sources suggest between 2g and 6g of ALA per day to meet our needs and convert effectively to EPA and DHA. Chia seeds, hemp seeds and walnuts also offer ALA. During pregnancy and lactation I would not advise relying on ALA as your sole source of omega-3, as a deficiency can lead to cognitive impairment in infants. Vegetarian Mothers should use a DHA-algae supplement. If you are not vegetarian or vegan but are mostly concerned with sustainability consider consuming 2-3 servings of sardines per week which are a better choice 🐟For full blog post on omega-3s for vegetarians and vegans see link in profile 📷 @shaynestadnick#consciouseating#vegetarianism#sustainablefood#sustainablediet#dietitianblogger#dietitiansofig#vegansofig#travellinladies#damestravel#roamingwomen#girlsthatwander#womenwhohike#letsgowonder#radgirlslife#girlsabroad#outdoorgirlsintheworld
