Yesterday’s dinner at the hotel was quite nice as they were a bit more creative with my main course!
For the surprisingly nice starter I had orange with something I didn’t recognise (2nd photo, they had to bring a new one after cos the cracker on top had nuts in it) 🍊 followed by the usual salad (3rd) 🥗 then some pretty basic but tasty vegetable consommé (1st) 🍵
The main course (4th photo) was courgette, tomato, pepper, carrot & other veggies in coconut milk with polenta 🍅🥕
Dessert was a plate of fresh fruit as they had nothing else – apples, kiwi, grapefruit & probably my fav, pineapple 🍍

Oats pasta with a creamy avo-cashew sauce.
Since when does health taste this good? As in lick-the-bowl-out good!
Reasons to love on this sauce: it is loaded with the good kinds of dietary fat (Avo, olive oil, nuts, flax...). Let’s give flax some time to shine. Above and beyond it being a good fat, research now shows that flax fiber feeds the good bacteria in our gut. Happy gut =happy life right!

😳One of the things that alarms me the most following so many bodybuilders on social media is the total disrespect for their bodies and seemingly, ignorance towards their health...just because you look good on the outside it doesn’t mean you’re healthy. Artery-clogging LDL cholesterol comes as a result of a diet high in animal fat and protein. It's easy to see why a traditional bodybuilders diet is extremely risky. Heart disease is currently the developing worlds biggest killer and you could call it the silent assassin while it creeps up on the inside.

This is what I love about eating a plant based diet - if you bulk correctly it just means you’re getting even more nutrition into your diet and you stay lean.
A common question that comes up among many people new to a plant-based diet is, “what do I eat?” What to avoid on a plant-based it quite clear: all animal products. If we want that plant-based diet to be a healthy one, we take things a step farther, also eliminating/reducing processed foods, including oils and refined carbohydrates. -
Protein? if you're eating nothing but a variety of whole, natural plants, you will get enough of every single essential amino acid, regardless of which foods you choose (the complete protein myth has long been debunked). You would experience a calorie deficiency before a protein deficiency, and both are virtually nonexistent in first-world societies.

When I was vegetarian my favourite shop bought sandwich was the M&S Egg, salad cream and tomato sandwich. I was addicted to it so thought I’d have a go at veganising it. Let me tell you this sandwich was super filling and absolutely moreish 🌱😋
Vegan Tofu n tomato sandwich 🥪 .
•Tofu (I used a quarter pack of Cauldron firm original tofu)
•1tbsp Vegan mayonnaise •1tsp Dijon mustard •1/2tsp Garlic powder
•1/2tsp Turmeric •1/4tsp Paprika •Pinch of Cayenne pepper
•Cracked black pepper .
•With a fork mash the above ingredients together and mix with a spoon.
•2 slices of your favourite sandwich bread
•Butter with vegan sunflower spread of your choice
•Add cherry tomatoes to one slice of bread
•Add Tofu sandwich filling to the other slice of bread
•Enjoy your sandwich 🌱😋

Known each other over 12 years, been married for over 5 years. In all honesty in the beginning was smooth sailing but as the years pass the work definitely has ramped up. However we stay intentional on what makes us, us. We stay focused on our common loves, desires and goals. Simultaneously we are learning to give freedom to each other to pursue the dreams that might not be shared. At times it is scary to think that when we first met we were on the exact same page about EVERYTHING yet now, as we both continually grow together and as individuals, we are realizing that is not necessarily the case anymore. But one thing that has stayed consistent is continuously choosing each other! And that will not change. .

A delectable dish that is commonly made in North India and has a unique taste due to the use of whole spices. Its one of our family's favourite dishes and is made quite often.
My husband is not a big fan of Aaloo Gobhi... although he loves both the veggies when made individually... He is happy to eat achaari Aaloo and achaari Gobhi anytime but won't say yes to aaloo-gobhi by any chance... nevertheless I am happy because it makes my work easier... I can make two different lip smacking dishes in less than 30 minutes and please the guests and family at the same time. All you need is achaari masala and some basic ingredients to showcase your culinary skills. You can find the recipe for achaari Aaloo on my blog and I am gonna share the recipe for Achaari Gobhi here....
Ingredients : 🔸1 medium size Cauliflower cut into medium florets🔸1+1/2 medium size onions roughly chopped🔸1 medium size tomato roughly chopped🔸1/2 inch bulb of ginger🔸3-4 cloves of garlic🔸1 green chilli🔸1 bay leaf(Tej patta)🔸1/2 tsp cumin seeds(jeera)🔸1/2 tbsp dry coriander seeds (sabut dhaniya)🔸1/4 tbsp fenugreek seeds (methi dana)🔸1/4 tbsp nigella seeds (kalonji)🔸1/2 tbsp fennel seeds (saunf)🔸1/2 tsp red chilli powder 🔸1/2 tsp turmeric powder 🔸1/2 tsp coriander powder 🔸1/4 tsp garam masala powder🔸 1/4 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)🔸1/2 tbsp kasuri methi(dry Fenugreek leaves)🔸salt to taste🔸2 tbsp mustard oil🔸1/3 cup water for cooking +1/3 cup for masala 🔸fresh coriander leaves to garnish.

dEATs: Chickpeas with Gyros seasoning + roasted baby carrots 🥕 + steamed peas + oven baked sweet potato chips 🍠 + 1tbsp of hummus
➡️CHICKPEA RECIPE: Rins and drain one can of chickpeas. Mix the chickpeas with 1-2tsp of olive oil and 3-4tbsp of water and 1tsp of Gyros seasoning and 1/4 tsp of smoked salt (optional, but I really like the taste of it☺️). Roast the chickpeas for 7-10minutes on medium heat.

➡️ CSICSERIBORSÓ RECEPT: Szűrjünk le, majd mossunk át 1konzerv csicseriborsót, majd keverjük össze 1-2tk olívaolajjal, 3-4ek vízzel, 1tk gyros fűszerkeverékkel és 1/4tk füstölt sóval (kihagyható, de szerintem nagyon jó ízt ad neki☺️). Egy felmelegített serpenyőben, néha megkavarva 7-10percig pirítsuk.
