Follow @alkalineherbshop Go outside and get sunlight every day guys, this is part of healing! 🌞 BOOSTS IMMUNITY:
It has been proven that sunshine stimulates your immune systems’ vitamin D and T cells which results in boosted immunity. Researchers say, “we rely on solar energy to enable our bodies to stave off infections and fight disease.” 🌞 REDUCES CANCER RISK:
Research has shown that “stripping off in the spring sunshine might be even better for men, as a second vitamin D study suggests it decreases their risk of developing kidney cancer.” Dr. Mercola explains from a scientific point of view, vitamin D reduces the risk of many forms of cancer and increases survival rates once cancer reaches a detectable stage. 🌞 IMPROVES MOOD:
Having a bad day? Step outside! Sunlight increases levels of serotonin which help promote feelings of happiness 🌞 IMPROVES SLEEP:
Research suggests that morning sunlight exposure is linked to better sleep and health. Getting less morning light could make it more difficult for you to fall asleep and wake up at your preferred times. 🌞 BETTER BONE HEALTH:
As we know, vitamin D nourishes our body. But what many of us don’t know it that vitamin D actually helps our body better absorb calcium. This results in strong, healthy bones. 🌞 HEALS SKIN DISORDERS:
Sunshine may actually be able to fight skin diseases by attracting immune cells to the skin surface. UV radiation exposure has been proven to treat eczema, acne and psoriasis. 🌞 IMPROVES BRAIN FUNCTION:
Sunlight directly affects the brains pineal gland. It’s the gland that produces melatonin; a powerful antioxidant that is important for sleep quality and helps prevent depression. So get outside so you can get a good night’s sleep; it's important for proper brain function. 🌞 LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE:
High blood pressure is extremely dangerous, it’s important to educate yourself on ways to lower your blood pressure. One of which include, exposure to sunlight.
Men and women both produce testosterone, with the typical adult man producing about 5-10 milligrams per day and the average adult female producing at least 10-fold less per day. In men, almost 95 percent is produced within a group of cells located within the testes, and women likewise produce up to 50 percent of their testosterone within corresponding sex glands, the ovaries. The adrenal glands, located atop the kidneys, are also a minor source of testosterone production within men but a significant contributor for women.
Testosterone can enter cells passively—like a ghost traveling through a wall—and bind to androgen receptors that act directly upon the nucleus of a cell. It can also serve as a prohormone in sex glands and tissues such as your skin, hair follicles, and fat. For example, when the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase is present, such as in the prostate or skin, testosterone is converted to the more potent androgen, dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Muscles: Increases protein synthesis, and increases muscle mass and strength.
Body Fat: Blocks the uptake of fat and storage of fat, and increases the number of fat burning beta-adrenergic receptors.
Brain: Improves cognition, memory, sex drive, and affects feelings.
Heart: Increases blood flow and cardiac output.
Bone: Increases red blood cell production and bone growth, and maintains bone density.
Male Sex Organs: Supports sperm production and viability, and promotes penis growth and erectile function.
Skin: Supports collagen production and produces hair.
Kidneys: Produces erythropoietin (EPO), which stimulates red blood cell production

Dominare gli esseri umani è forza.
Dominare se stessi è il vero potere. (@laotzuquotes )
Part of winning is losing and learning to get back up! There is always a lesson in losing so take it, learn from it, and benefit from it. People aren’t born great! They become very good at something from putting in LOTS of work and dedication to something. And sometimes we back track but for every step backwards take 5 steps forward. First you must crawl then you will walk and finally you RUN. That’s how winning is done.
With that being said, I had carbs last night! And they were fucking awesome and I’m not sorry!😂💁🏻♀️ time to take those five steps forward. One setback is nothing. LETS GET IT!
