Pb filled choc ballzzz 🤩🤤🤪 Perfect to satisfy that sweet tooth as they taste like they should be filled with refined sugars, dairy and additives which don’t agree with a lot of people and can leave you feeling a bit sick and lethargic, instead these will leave you feeling energetic ! So good that they only lasted a week whoops hehe just TOO GOOD 🌈 These are super easy to make as you just blend them up and then roll! 💛 Eating nourishing food is a lot easier than you may think and balls like this aren’t necessary but make living a healthy lifestyle more maintainable as YUMM ⚡️⚡️
1 cup dates
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup peanuts + more for rolling in (I roasted my own for more flavour)
1/2 cup cacao powder
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1/4 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Place jar of peanut butter in the freezer to semi set. Blend all ingredients together until desired consistency. Roll into balls and flatten into ‘biscuit’ shape. Place 1/2-1 tsp peanut butter in the centre and fold the edges of the choc mixture into the centre and roll into a ball. Roll in chopped peanuts! ENJOY 🌟🌙💫

It’s a new day, new week, and I’m ready to kill it! (📷: @jordanke)
Pic 1: Bachelor's degree final year; just won the gold medal in weightlifting in my weight category (under 69 Kg) and was also awarded the best weightlifter overall of the inter college sports meet. Was at the highest point of my life till date and finally proved to myself that I am a sportsperson of some calibre.
Pic 2: I had been trying to keep at the gym, working out. It was a good escape from the struggles of life in those post college years but still the signs were showing. My eating was going south and I gained weight which I should never have. I was relatively fit but that picture suggested that something was really not right in the way I wanted to be fit. This was the time I realised that gym fitness was not enough for me and I wanted to be more "functionally fit" as I say it. And that's when in the March of 2017 I decided that I would start running just to loose some weight, like many of us start initially.
Pic 3: 2 years after that decision I was in love with running, I had already completed my 2nd full marathon in 3:08 something and was back to or even better in fitness levels (being a weightlifter, running was taboo for us 😁) than I was in 2009. I still workout in gym, well because its first love ❤️ but now I have new goals to focus where gym is only a means to the end, that is running! 🏃
