Being an adult isn't easy, there was no rule/guide book telling me how to figure out the world and transition into being a grown woman with adult responsibilities.
Literally just having faith things will fall into place lol 🙏🏽
Anyways, just gotta share im thankful for great friends, positivity, and good vibes and thank you, Faith, for believing in me. 💛

Ever since I was a little girl, I was always the one who kept to herself. I was shy and never felt like my voice mattered. Although, I never understood why the extroverts recieved so much praise. I have accomplished a lot by being introverted. It makes me feel grounded and has allowed me to be more in-tune with myself.
I often ask myself why I am so content with being by myself. And the truth is, it’s what I know best. I have dealt with rejection, exclusion, and fake relationships quite a bit. Am I upset about it? It hurt at the time, but it has only made me grow into an independent woman.
College has been a growing phase for me. Not only have I come out of my shell, but I have found my voice. Because what I say does matter. I have found a balance between going out when I truly want and staying in when I need to be with myself. Being an introvert is nothing to be ashamed about. It doesn’t make you inferior to extroverts.
I encourage you introverts to speak out when you need to be heard, demand what you want from others, and discover what makes you happiest. #emmysyummys
I think my depression is getting better. It seems to be better when I wake, then later in the day I feel like I’m sinking again. So I wait. I do the things and I wait for the sinkingness to dissipate.
Sometimes the blanket of depression comes from out of nowhere and settles over me even if my circumstances are fine, even if I can’t pinpoint any trigger. I’ll call my psychiatrist if this persists for another few days. I can’t take anti-depressants because I don’t need to slip into mania. Being depressed is much safer (for me) than being manic. So I wait.
I know everyone’s experiences with depression and mania are different. I’m sharing my experiences in case it helps others know they aren’t alone in the midst of their own mental health struggles.
