It took a while to get up to the mountain 🏔 for the first time this year, but I am wind-burned and extremely happy... even if I don’t look like it here 😂 #mthood#skibowl#shredlife#home

Not pictured here are @abbybaunsgard & @daltonbaunsgard who were down for an afternoon of snow adventuring, dogs playing & some playground swinging. ♡

If I ever stop posting photos and then later on you find out that I fell off the side of a mountain, slipped into a frozen lake, was mauled by a bear or eaten by an alligator, please don’t feel sad... Instead, I want you to say, “he died doing what he loved.” If I die with a camera in my hand while trying to get the perfect shot, I will have died happy
Shoutout to my badass wildlife crew for taking advantage of the recent #snowpocalypse and tagging three sub-adult male mountain lions on the north Olympic Peninsula over the past 10 days!
Young male cougars are one of the primary targets of this study because they usually disperse further than females in search of their own territories, food, and mates, and the data we collect from GPS collars can teach us a lot about the connectivity of the landscape.
This is M12 (second photo), and we’re looking forward to tracking his upcoming dispersal that’s expected to be in the near future!
Hello & happy Monday!
I’ve been a little absent on the old IG the past lil bit because I was soaking up a great week in Redding. I even got to experience the SNOWPOCALYPSE on Wednesday - about a foot of beautiful snow complete with an almost 2-day power outage! A very unexpected snow day in sunny Redding! (The other two photos are after the snow melted - isn’t it beautiful?! 😍)
Anywho, I’m back in Austin and happily getting back to a routine. ❤️
How was your week?
Full steam ahead! The road conditions are safe and we are out collecting. We’re working hard to catch up from #snowpocalypse and return to the normal schedule as quickly as possible. Thank you for all your patience!

Be Your Own Hero – Build Your 72-Hour Kit Challenge
In light of the past two weeks of the Seattle Snowpocalypse 2019, I’ve taken the resources and materials from emergency preparedness agencies, my experience as a fire captain and putting my own 72-Hour Kit together for our household and created a Free 4-Week Challenge to help you put together your own 72-Hour Kit in the month of March! Starting March 1, you will get an email from Trimazing! each Friday with a list of tasks to be completed and items to gather and/or purchase that upcoming week. Not only will you have a checklist, but I’m providing you with supplemental information and links to order materials to make your process easier. By the end of March, you will have your own 72-Hour Kit for you and your whole household.
Here’s how to sign up:
Go to (link in profile above 🔝) and enter into the challenge by 11:59 PM February 28, 2019. You’ll get a confirmation email that you’ve signed up and are in the Be Your Own Hero 72-Hour Kit Challenge.
Together, we can all be stronger. Are you ready to Be Your Own Hero?
Day 92873179412 of #snowpocalypse - grateful for close coffee shops to work from (and escape #cabinfever). Today’s drink of choice: coconut milk matcha, extra hot. Rearranging our listings that were supposed to go live for next week and post-snow, so buyers are able to get to showings! ❄️
