We had a chance to check out the new SRAM Eagle AXS and Reverb AXS yesterday and everyone in the shop was blown away at how beautifully seamless this whole group set works and how well it is designed.
Every one of our employees agreed that they would ride it if they had a chance to have it on their personal bike. The hype is real folks, SRAM did an amazing job with the new E-tap systems.
Sram really hit it out of the park with their new drivetrain. It’s quick, it’s smooth, it’s seamless. All you do is tap the paddle, then instantaneously hear the motor in the derailleur shift and before you can even notice, you’re in whichever gear you desire. You will not miss your conventional shifter, that is for sure. This component set is the pinnacle of drivetrain engineering and innovation, beautifully designed through and through. The ability to customize preferences between the drivetrain and dropper post remotes is incredibly convenient as well. It's pretty amazing how well it all works together.
Not to forget the new Reverb though! We were equally impressed with the new Rockshox Reverb AXS. It has quicker response than the normal reverb we’re all accustomed to and has been redesigned to be even more robust. The inclusion of an air bleed valve makes it easy to remove any ‘squishiness’ from the IFP that would sometimes occur with reverbs, also no more line to bleed! A simple remote at the bar, and a seat post that can be fully removed at any time, doesn’t get much better than that.
Now for the good news! We are among the first bike shops to be able to get our hands on the new Sram Eagle AXS and Reverb AXS which is expected to arrive in the first days of March! That means you could be among the first in the world to have the new Sram Eagle AXS group on their bike if you get your pre-order in asap. We’ve had a lot of interest around the new AXS group and we can’t wait to get this on our customer’s bikes. Hit up the shop as soon as you can to reserve yourself an Eagle AXS drivetrain or Reverb AXS.
Do you love Grip Shift?
If you say it's rubbish, then you've not tried it in the last ten years! Now it's light, precise, fast and ergonomic and no, you don't change gear by accident.
