I’ve lived in 7 different New York neighborhoods in 4 years (crazy yes) and I still think (running on) the west side is the best side. #sunsetrun 😁🏃🏻♀️
10 more for ya, Will!
14.4 miles in the park on Wednesday, and two days later I just hit 10 quick hilly miles while visiting home. Click #workoutforwill and you’ll understand why today’s run felt easy peasy. If Will can come back from emergency brain surgery, I can certainly throw down a couple long runs to help him visit his grandparents.
Also, today felt mentally amazing because it gave me confidence in my training. Two hard long runs 48 hours apart, feeling good, while still stronger than I’ve ever felt. Today reminded me that I know what I’m doing, I push myself in the gym to keep myself stronger and more resilient during race training. And I have far more untapped potential that I’m looking forward to exploring. I’m feeling DRIVEN to see how far I can push this body. Who’s with me?
T- minus 11 weeks until my first 50 miler.
Look! ...Spring is coming guys!! You can´t imagine how much joy I felt in being outside and running through the fields. I decided to go for 15km (only) because of a previous 4-day regeneration break. I really needed that break even if I didn´t want it AT ALL! But I felt pretty much like I´m getting sick. Thank God I got away with shifting a gear back. Now it seems that I´m totally fine again. Dear runners out there,... never put your body under too big pressure if it needs regeneration!!! Take your Time, but stay always stay focused and use as much positive energy as you can somehow get out of your mind. But enough idle talk... What did you fill this beautiful days time with?
«I FINALLY DID IT 🗽🏅⠀
On December 31st 2016 I made a resolution that I wanted to run a sub 4:30 marathon. It became my sole aim in marathon running.⠀
After 11 failed attempts today I finally did it and the emotion of it all hit me like a tidal wave at the finish line, as you can see by my ugly cry face.⠀
It means more to me than I can put into words right now.»⠀

Today we ended up with a sunset walk and a little run in one of the best places in Ålesund to watch this splendor of nature🌅. Sometimes my body won't play along with what I want to do. Today was one of those days 🙁, but it ended well😉 Do you have it like this sometimes?
