Aber gut, ist halt manchmal so. Große Fortschritte mach ich ehrlich gesagt nicht, aber ich bin schon froh, wenn ich den Trainingszustand so halten kann, der Fokus liegt gerade halt doch mehr auf dem Laufen. Da möchte ich gerne wieder zu alter Form zurückkehren. Alles andere ist gerade schmückendes Beiwerk und dient dem Formerhalt.
Für abends war noch Rolle angedacht, die fiel wegen Nacken dann aber doch aus 😬

#beironfit was the first tri training book I ever picked up. It helped me wrap my mind around training in blocks of time vs distance, and using heart rate zones to help gauge effort. I rolled this into my strength work, which changed everything. Instead of being welded to my old linear progression templates, I started looking at chunks of time in my schedule and adapting my workload from there. It really helped me see the big picture, even with two very different modes of training. I've missed my little home gym! We have a gym at our townhome complex, but I know I'm more consistent when I have this simple space in my own home. I had to go lighter on weights today and focused more on resistance bands since this is the first really strength session I've had in a couple of weeks. Also, my legs are burning from all of these hills! 😳 SD natives don't think it's hilly but I had 1500 ft of climbing in yesterday's 18 mile bike ride and 800+ ft in today's 6 mi run. I ran yesterday and though I had to cut it short to squeeze everything in, I still got 7.5 miles in and I still FORGOT about my son’s orthodontic appointment. 🤦🏻♀️ Oh well, super productive day nonetheless. •
I even got to jump in on my husband’s upper body #backandbicepsworkout and we got to build our guns together. Lol. 💪🏼
