Ooooooh I am excited about this! I pretty much LIVE in a @bocogear hat or visor so I am PSYCHED to be joining their ambassador team! I don’t apply to many teams or endorse many brands but I stand firmly behind (and live underneath) #BOCO. They fit better than any other 🧢 out there, have the best designers, and for my fellow small-headed ladies (and dudes!) these actually work on our teeny heads! It’s no secret that I’ve been grumpy lately but this news was a welcome pickmeup today!!

Big smiles after a solid effort out on the race course yesterday in the 2018 Magog CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon American Cup. Coming into it, I was definitely feeling pretty nervous. This would have been my 2nd race at the Elite level, and after my experience in Ixtapa, the last thing I wanted was to struggle in the swim and be left chasing the end of the pact the entire way. But leading up to the swim start, I reminded myself to keep focused, be aggressive, and only positive thoughts no matter what happens. The beginning of the swim definitely caused a bit of anxiety. I’m still not quite use to how aggressive athletes at this level are, but by the time I got half way through the swim and we were less congested, everything began to fall into place... I got into my zone and and slowly excelled past a few of the other athletes making up some time. I came into the bike catching a draft pack of 6, and then we separated into 3 of us. Together we worked hard to pick up speed, having finally caught a small group ahead bringing us into transition for the run. Although I still have some improvements to make, mainly on my run and stride technique, I held strong, and crossed that finish line taking a total of 4mins17seconds of my previous time on this course. It felt amazing, and I couldn’t have been happier with my performance. A huge thank you to @b78coaching and @impulsesportwv, to my fellow competitors for huge push, to all the race organizers and volunteers, to my family who was out here on the side lines cheering me on the whole way and to my friends and followers who cheered from a distance. Your support means the world to me!
There's a variety of diets for a reason...the same diet doesn't work for everyone...but (as a lot of you requested) this is what worked for me over the last 11 weeks of Bikini Prepping! #broccoli 😂(had too)
I'm a busyAF mom, on a budget and have a job....so with that I prepped myself (too expensive to order those pre prepped meals), I squeezed prepping IN in between everything else on my daily plate, and packed breakfast and lunch to bring to work every day!!!
I was at the produce store and in my kitchen more then ever😂
But here you go.....
First I bought a 50 cent notebook and wrote down everything I ate...EVERYTHING!!!!!
1. I eat 6 meals a day (small) protein/veggie/low carb (one meal contained a fruit usually an apple 🍎 )
2. No dairy AT ALL
3. If I cheated (by cheat I mean 1 cup of non salted trailmix or 3 cups Skinny popcorn) that counted as a meal
4. I always had food prepped and ready to go...so important!!!
5. Only carbs I ate sweet potatoes, low carb pita (100 calories), oatmeal, or brown rice.
6. Water water water....I struggled w that actually.
7. No SUGAR not too hard because I don't drink alcohol and I'd rather have pizza or French Fries then a candy bar🤷🏼♀️except peanut M&Ms love those 😆
8. Protein Protein Protein with EVERY meal....super important!! I chose Tuna, chicken, or tilapia mostly or turkey burgers (no bun though😂)
I can't believe how much this diet helped w my muscle development AND my energy level increased as well😆The diet is an absolute HUGE part of the prep beside lifting!
Well there you guys go, hope it was helpful and if any questions feel free to DM me🤗Again this is what worked for me....
Currently 2 weeks and 2 days out til showtime🤗OMFG.....can't believe it!!!!
