Just read a great quote....
Author Napoleon Hill once said “EVERY ADVERSITY,EVERY FAILURE,EVERY HEARTACHE CARRIES WITH IT THE SEED OF AN EQUAL OR GREATER BENEFIT.. THAT SEED HAS A GREATER CHANCE OF GROWING INTO SOMETHING THAT POSITIVELY IMPACTS OR LIFE”!!!!
Next book I want you to read, from Andy Gs book club!
Author Zane Kekoa Schweitzer! Took sup surf lessons with Zane in my home town Sea Isle City SNJ! He’s a Maui native, full on love of life!
It’s my 2nd read it’s that good #innovate and inspire #themindwinsfirst#beneaththesurface
90 miles from my hometown Sacramento.. Paradise no longer. My friend here on Maui grew up there ..she met her husband at Paradise High. Her family members are in shelters. I survived the Berkeley Hills fire and let me you, it is like driving through hell. My problems are small compared to those who are displaced and who've lost more than I'll ever fathom. Then the Malibu fires ... the animals ...it's just heavy - real life. I'm taking a brief pause here on Instagram to rethink what matters, who matters and why I need to spend a little more time with my fingers on my guitar, my piano, writing my book, petting my cats more, loving my orchids, hugging my friends and being on the ocean, telling those I love , I love you. Xo 😘 See you ✌🏻🏄🏼♀️💙🙏🏻💪🏻soon. •

Glad I stopped the conversation in my head before I psyched myself out for my ride and run. In my head was this negativity—it’s probably muddy and wet; I haven’t ridden here in awhile; I’m still a beginner and it’s probably wet; I haven’t even run here in a few weeks and will probably have to walk some.
BUT finally I say to myself, ‘just go. You can always turnaround, it might be dry, you will stay a beginner if you don’t ride, you just stood on your feet and paddled for almost 8 hrs I think you can do this.’
AND it was my best ride. I only hopped off the bike twice (I didn’t have enough power going up), I went down every part, and rode across every root patch, it wasn’t wet. And I ran the whole 5. 🌈🤙🏼
