My dinner from a couple of nights ago. Yes I see two servings of fat ( 🥑, 🐟) DON’T YOU JUDGE ME . It’s what I was craving and it was so delicious 😋 the @traderjoes cauliflower gnocchi did not disappoint!
I apologize for my sports bra/bathing suit bottom look.. (Not a great angle, not a great pic in general but we here).
but hi 👋 this is what I look like half way through the day (food, water, energy drink). AND I’ve been bulking since November. My butt grew an inch in the past 3.5 months (no telling how much fat that is but my bulk was slow and steady and I hit legs 2x a week). The past week I have only eaten whole foods for the most part to see how much I truly weighed: 130lbs. My bulking goal was 140lbs. (Starting weight:124)
You’re probably thinking I failed? Well, not exactly. Could I have gained that last 10 lbs? Yeah. But I would of had to eat to the point of feeling SO TIRED ALL THE TIME. Food has such an impact on your 🧠. I would “eat all my calories” then feel like a snail. There’s that fine line of calorie intake where you feel happy and energized or sleepy and sad. And I just couldn’t do it with my job (I gotta be happy and peppy all the time 💁🏼♀️).
So I am officially done bulking, and I have exciting things coming up in 2019 🎉.
I will post more about everything once it all starts to feel real 😂.
Have a great day! 💋

I always find I’m way too hard on myself over the smallest of things. I feel I could have always done better once something has came to an end. I always overthink situations that aren’t going to change my life, so what’s the point in the stress 🤷🏼♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If something can be easily forgotten or left, it was never important enough to affect you negatively. So take a step back and ask yourself whether it will be important in 5 minutes, in a week or even a month. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨Don’t forget to spend moments with close ones. ✨Let effort speak louder than words. ✨Always celebrate. Even the ‘small’ things. ✨The only person who needs to approve of the way you look is YOU ✨The things that make you different are the things that make you, you. —

Over the past few months, I’ve gained a solid 10-12 pounds 👏🏼🌞 (my weight always fluctuates... depending if I’ve eaten at the vegan buffet or not that day 😂😏) I’ve gained a lot of muscle on the lower half of my body🍑 I’ve really noticed this because doing pull-ups is so much harder for me now 😂 I’ve been as consistent as I can with leg days and been lifting heavier weights (and of course eating properly and consistently too)! To some people, 10-12 pounds on the scale might seem like a lot... but in reality, I don’t look much different (maybe just peachier 😉). It’s important not to stress about the number on the scale as it can be so subjective! Muscle weighs more than fat, some of us have a higher bone density than others, etc. etc. Instead, put that energy into working on how you’re FEELING! Are you feeling strong? Healthy? HAPPY? If not, do something today to help you change that 👊🏼❤️

We all need a little bit of inspiration when it comes to evening meals because most of us stick to the same things week in and week out! It’s so boring!
So I’ve got my book out! My eyes are drawn to the vanilla cake with chocolate frosting mmmmm

Quick full body workout at the gym yesterday.. Today I will give Crossfit a try!! I love to work out at the gym, at home, but I miss a community and someone to help me to correct my form + give hard to reach but achievable challenges.. I want to learn and develop:-) As for yesterday’s workout this was a tough one; but enjoyed every minute of it 😄💪🏋️♀️🏋️♀️
Heyy peeps. I’ve always been the type of person to make lists but lately I’ve realized some tricks to maximize their potential and help with accountability! Soerrr here are my 3 top tips when it comes to making to-do lists 🤓
✏️BRAIN DUMP ALL YOUR TASKS | the first thing I do is just write out all the things I need to get done & just get it out of my brain. This is when I’ll put down all the major stuff I need to do that’s mostly on my mind.
✏️WRITE OUT LITTLE TASKS | I write out things like “make your bed” & “make breakfast & pack lunch” - you can even simply write to brush your teeth lol. Although these aren’t my major tasks of the day & are a part of my everyday routine, writing these easy things down helps to get the ball of productivity rolling. It makes you feel like you’re making progress and creates momentum to keep checking other things off your list! Trust me, this helps me a TON
✏️MAKE AN OUTLINE OF YOUR DAY | Finally, I write a literal schedule for my day. So I don’t just write the things I need to do down and hope I complete them, I write a plan of when to complete them. I’ll organize my day and plan out when I plan to tackle each task. This has helped me a ton w efficiency because I’ll already know what my next step is!
I hope this helps w making your week just a wee bit more productive!!😊💓
When fitness is literally life, it's important to make sure you're fueling your body the right way so you don't burn out! .
I finished 75 minutes of cycling bootcamp at @gritcycle this morning and rode another class this evening! My favorite way to practice self-love is to come home, make a big ol' nutritious AF smoothie, and spend a few minutes playing on my phone. .
One of my favorite products by @questnutrition
is their peanut butter protein powder! With 23g clean protein, it makes the perfect smoothie add-in and it's super tasty when blended with a banana and some raw cacao powder! .
To me, Quest means the freedom to push your limits and finding new and innovative ways to challenge yourself, all while having fun doing it! Quest is about your personal journey and what you make of it!
hello 2019! it’s been a hot minute since i’ve been on this lil account, because...baby! but i’ve been hitting the gym every chance I can and am working on getting my strength back.
I have lots of thoughts about my post partum body (swipe 👉🏻 to see) but i’m going to keep them to myself for now. I will say that right before I got pregnant i was in the best shape of my life and I was the happiest with how my body looked and felt as I have ever been. I took this gym selfie the other day and am happy to see I haven’t completely lost ALL my muscle definition, so that inspiring me to get back into it the game and see what this body can do!
The goal is to have a flat tummy and a big booty but also to look fit and feel healthy. It’s okay to have a body goal in mind but remember not every body is the same so don’t expect to have the same results as someone else. Your body will change at its own pace so don’t get discouraged because someone that just started working out is losing more weight than you and you’ve been at it for months now. You will get there. Have faith, stay consistent and keep pushing 😘

Strength isn't just about how much weight you can squat, hip thrust, or bench press. Strength is also about everything else that comes before, during, and after the actual lift:
💪🏼 It's about having the willpower to get yourself out of the house and to the gym, when you'd rather still be in bed in the early morning, or watching Netflix before calling it a night.
💪🏼 It's about having the endurance to power through that last set, even when you feel like you'd rather tap out and move on to the next exercise.
💪🏼 It's about having the resilience to try something again, even if you've failed before.
💪🏼 It's about having the grit to keep showing up, even when it's hard; even after you've had a rough day at work; even when you have the choice between putting in the work versus taking it easy.
Strength doesn't come easy - but when you develop strength, it's like a badge of honor.
You've worked hard for it, and the hard work shows - and you should be proud of yourself.
How do you exhibit strength in your daily life? Comment below one way you’ve shown your strength recently 👏🏼
It was a sunny runday for me 🙌 4 mi with interval WO... I'm loving my #inmotioninmotion shirt!! It's perfect for this crazy weather
Feliz inicio de semana!! La corrida de hoy fue de 4 millas con intervalos, aunque el día estuvo soleado... estaba helando!! Pero mi camiseta de #carlsbadmarathon es perfecta para este clima loco 😍
Fit tip of the day 💪🏼 Learn to accept and love where you are right now in your journey! Yes, it sounds backwards...but if you can accept yourself now, even if you’re not where you want to be, you’ll discover a whole new level of motivation and discipline. Why? Because you’re operating from a place of love rather than self-hatred. That’s the type of drive and motivation that lasts for life. Not just for a workout program or a month-long diet.
Honestly, I struggle with this every single day. I have the tendency to get so caught up in where I want to be that I forget to appreciate how far I’ve come and where I am today. If you’re never happy with yourself and you do reach the fitness goals you were after...you still won’t be happy. In fact, you probably won’t even realize you met your old goals because you’re too busy thinking of where you need to get next. Fall in love with where you are...because you are amazing, capable and beautiful just as you are now. ☺️💗

HAPPY MONDAY FRENZZ☀️ “Sometimes the difference between a terrible day and a pretty good day is finding one small, stupid thing to be nerdily excited about. Even (especially) if no one else cares or gets it” 🌈
Leaving u with one of my fave quotes because I LOVE QUOTES👻 (too cringe?? NEVER!! not cringe enough) 🤪 heh he
Also: OBSESSED with these leggings from @beaybl, Use code ‘FIONA’ for 10% off🍉
(I wear an XS which is my usual size in leggings)
When you’ve got goals you can get so caught up in where you’re headed, that it’s easy to forget to stop and recognize how far you’ve come..
I’ve been lanky my entire life. I never had any muscle or upper body strength. I would always look at girls on Instagram or in the gym and envy their toned physiques. These workouts aren’t just for people looking to lose weight at home. They have made my time in the gym so much more effective and efficient. They have given me the confidence to walk over to a weight rack and not feel out of place. They have taught me proper form and they have helped me build the kind of muscle I’ve always wanted, without spending hours in the gym. .
But more than that, the girl on the right is a completely different version of the old me. This girl is genuinely happy and confident. She has found the balance between fuelling her body properly and enjoying herself. She knows exactly who she is and she has learned to embrace it. This girl is full of energy and drive.
. I think my smile says it all.. I am so proud of my growth, inside and out .
And the best part is, you can feel the same way too! if you just start..

“You already look fine, why would you change your diet/exercise?”
I get comments like this ALL the time! As if my appearance somehow indicates that I’ve “done enough” and should stop.
Here’s the deal: I’m perfectly happy with my body right now. Yeah, there are a few things here and there that I would change if I could but overall I love this sack of meat and bones that helps me do everything I want to do 💪🏻 There are two main reasons why despite my “fine” appearance, I still strive to eat healthy, exercise, experiment with different diets, and push myself to do the best I can:
🙌🏻HEALTH. Like, duh. There’s more to life, diet, and exercise than your physical appearance. Things like being able to play with my grandkids, feeling great and having good energy throughout the day, having mental clarity, being physically and mentally independent when I’m old, etc are all motivating factors for me. If there were something that could give me absolute health but make me less attractive, I’d do it in a heartbeat.
💗FUN! I looooove experimenting and trying new things out and seeing how my body responds. I genuinely enjoy the process of trying new things and treating myself a little like a science experiment 😂 I like to push my limits and see what I’m capable of.
A common misconception is that if someone *looks* fit and physically attractive that they’re healthy. But this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Our definition of “attractive” today is so skewed that often people have to push themselves to unhealthy extremes to achieve it.
If you strive for health, the aesthetics will come. If you only focus on aesthetics, you may never reach your goals and may damage your health in the process
