The aaaMAZING @spicymoonnyc had us over for dinner last night and we have here leftover cold sesame noodles, dry pepper fried eggplant, 🍚, and some 🥑 slices topped with super seed blend. The eggplant is actually addicting 😋
We also had salt & pepper tofu, wontons in chili oil, “honey” walnut edamame nuggets (the sauce was unreal!), some salty crispy shaved brussel sprouts, and yummy cumin fries with dipping aioli. And there honestly might’ve been more hehe we were so spoiled 🥰 New favorite place here in nyc!
The Emotional Aromatherapy oils are some of the most useful oils in my toolkit- but some of the oils I use the least 😬
These oils are what inspired me to do the #everyoilchallenge
This week- I’m trying to use every single oil I own at least once! I wanted to challenge myself to branch out and use oils that I have, but underuse! .

A mí me pasa siendo un varón de 1,90 que pesa 92 kilos.
El musculo se construye con proteínas, es imposible que sea de otro modo, por lo tanto si un vegano desarrolla masa muscular es porque está ingiriendo no solo la cantidad necesaria para vivir sino la cantidad necesaria para construir musculo.💪
En mi experiencia en etapas de definición llego a consumir 2gr de proteína por kilo de peso (no recomiendo que lo hagan). Los #veganos podemos encontrar nuestra #proteina en muchos alimentos. Las legumbres tienen entre 18 y 23 gr cada 100gr. La quinoa 14gr, el tofu 16gr, la levadura nutricional 9gr por cucharada, además de la existencia de varios suplementos (que no son necesarios para llegar a completar la proteína pero existen).🥦🥦
Mucha gente piensa que la proteína animal es mejor por tener todos los aminoácidos. Esto es porque antes se pensaba que ningún vegetal los tenía, ahora hay algas y alimentos a base de soja que son completos en aminoácidos. Aun si no comes esos alimentos con combinar en la misma semana cereales y legumbres completas la cadena de aminoácidos.✊🏾
Y algo más, las proteínas vegetales son fuentes de calcio, hierro, fibra, entre otros mientras que las de origen animal son fuente de grasa saturada y colesterol.🐄
Yo elijo la proteína vegetal.

Turmeric nut loaf recipe!😋. Please choose organic ingredients!
Here’s what you need:
2 cups of almond meal.
1/2 cup walnuts.
1/2 cup slivered almonds.
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds.
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan salt.
1 teaspoon ground turmeric.
1/2 teaspoon gluten free baking powder.
Three “eggs” vegan substitute.
2 tablespoons maple syrup.
1/2 banana, mashed.
1. Preheat oven to 325° and grease a loaf pan with coconut oil or avocado oil.
2.Combine almond meal, nuts, seeds, salt, turmeric, baking powder in a large bowl.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients. Add the wet mixture to the dry and mix well.
4. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Think about this one. A few years ago, I believed I loved animals but I ate animal products.
That made no sense. Every single animal we use for food - whether they’re raised for meat, milk or eggs - is an animal who was exploited and who died in a slaughterhouse by having a knife pulled across their throat or who was suffocated in a gas chamber.
And every time we consume animal products, that’s what we are funding.
Animal lovers don’t eat animal products.

Blueberry Vanilla Muffins (Vegan) 💙💙💙
Time for some weekend healthy baking, and who doesn’t love the smell of freshly baked muffins in the house 😍
I picked up my ingredients at @mrvitamins, it’s so handy that there’s one at Parramatta Westfield now.
The boys are off to see the Motorbike stunts at Nitro Circus tonight 🏍 it was a Christmas present, so they’re excited it’s finally here ❤️ and I have a tonne of washing and cleaning to do before our holiday next weekend. Fun times 😅

Blueberry Vanilla Muffins (Vegan)
1 cup plain flour (or flour of choice)
1/2 cup granulated natural sweetener (raw sugar, coconut sugar)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda (bicarbonate)
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup soy milk
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Preheat oven to 180C
Mix milk and vinegar and allow to stand for 5 mins to turn into buttermilk
Mix dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients
Add wet to try dry and stir until just mixed
Add blueberries and stir through
Spoon into 6 muffin cases (I used silicon)
Bake for 20-25mins until lightly golden and a skewer comes out clean

Vegan Carrot Cake with wild blueberry cream frosting by @ellenfisher 💜 Recipe:⠀
For the filling:⠀
4 cups carrot pulp⠀⠀
1/2 cup walnuts⠀⠀
1/2 cup raisins⠀⠀
1/2 cup coconut flakes⠀⠀
6 medjool dates, pitted⠀⠀
1 pinky size piece ginger⠀⠀
4 tbsp maple syrup⠀⠀
1 tbsp Cinnamon ⠀⠀
For the frosting: ⠀⠀
3 cups soaked raw cashews, 1 cup coconut water, 1/2 cup coconut meat, maple syrup to taste, vanilla⠀⠀
How To Make:⠀
Blend the frosting ingredients until smooth. Freeze for a few hours to thicken/harden. Food process the filling ingredients. Then take the frosting out of the freezer and layer the filling and frosting in a cake pan. top with a layer of frosting that is stirred with wild blueberries. Freeze for a few more hours. Serve. PANQUECA DE BETERRABA
INGREDIENTES - massa:
🔸1/2 xícara (chá) de aveia em flocos finos (se não tiver não precisa)
🔸1 e 1/2 xícara (chá) de água
🔸1 xícara (de chá) de farinha de trigo integral
🔸1 colher (sopa) farinha de linhaça (ou de chia)
🔸1 beterraba pequena crua em pedaços (ou espinafre ou cenoura)
🔸1 pitadona de sal
Bate tudo no liquido de ficador. A massa tem que estar liquida, mas espessa. Vai no olho e segue o coração.
Na frigideira quente com um fio de azeite, coloque uma concha de massa e cozinhe dos dois lados. 🍒
