I received my new lens in the mail today and I am not disappointed! I spent a little bit of time using it today and it takes amazing photographs 📸
I’m looking forward to using it more and becoming more familiar with it!
Can I just say that I still have days of not knowing wtf I'm doing?
I've been listening to a lot of @abrahamhickspublications lately. Like a lot.
Believe it or not, law of attraction & getting control of my vibration and energy has been incredibly helpful in managing my mood swings and intrusive thoughts.
So much so that I feel like I've been bobbing and weaving around the negative thoughts and coping mechanisms that I had grown accustomed to.
I've been pushing back on the idea that when given a diagnosis of mental illness all we can do is learn to live with it.
With that comes growth, but it also gets uncomfortable. It's like you start to know too much to go back to old ways, as hard as those habits may die.
Trust me when I say that there are days when I want to just let myself slip into my old ways. There are days when that would be so much easier than change.
There are days when I feel like I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.
So here's to you, figuring out what change looks like in your life and working to become the future self you're dreaming of:
Keep on trucking. Remember that you don't have to suffer before it gets better, and it can always get better.
The drastic change of temperature lately has created some interesting ice formations

Loved putting a special twist on this entrance!
This reno is being designed by yours truly for two first time home buyers.
Something that I see often in the interior design space is the look and feel of the home representing the designer's taste than the home owners'. I'm proud to say that my work is about my clients' dream for their space, I'm just here to help tie it all together!
Do you know any first time home buyers? Feel free to tag them in the comments so we can all congratulate them!

As the sun goes down over the Halifax Harbourfront.
Today it’s all about Halifax! Over on the blog I’ve got a full 36 hr itinerary including:
Where to stay
Where to Eat
Popular shopping streets
The best skyline views
The Halifax waterfront
The link is in the profile OR just save this post to revisit later 🙌🏻
This sweet little house is the oldest house in #lunenburg! Its a charmer and what I wouldn’t give for a little tour inside! The owners have apparently kept the inside as traditional as possible to keep this perfect piece of history intact!
Happy Friday! What’s everyone doing this weekend?

Remember how I said the Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world? It empties and fills a billion tons of water twice a day, which is more water flow than all of the freshwater rivers in the world combined. At its highest point, Minas Basin, it rises and falls up to 53 feet! Needless to say, your views can change quite drastically at different times of the day!
