Chocolate Hazelnut Peanut Butter Cheesecake balls. Well that’s a mouth full 😂😂
Recipe inspired from one on Pinterest!
Pnut butter cheesecake filling
8 Oz softened cream cheese
4 heaping TBS peanut butter (I used whipped pnut butter/ of your more strict/ make sure you use no sugar added kind)
3 tsp sweetener of choice (I used splenda naturals [erythritol and stevia blend] )
Optional: a few drops @oooflavors chocolate hazelnut extract •
4 heaping Tbs @nekstella (if you don’t have this, which you probably don’t, lol, you can use Lily’s chocolate chips but amount will need to be figured out)
3 tsp coconut oil
2 tbs Splenda naturals
Ground up hazelnuts •
1. Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, sweetener and extract together.
2. Using a spoon, form balls. These should come out very smooth.
3. Place on parchment paper and put in freeze.
4. Let freeze for at least an hour.
5. Melt your Nekstella/chocolate with coconut oil and sweetener.
6. Use a fork and roll the frozen ball in the chocolate until covered and replace on parchment paper.
7. Sprinkle each ball with hazelnut powder before doing the next bc the chocolate freezes fast.
8. Repeat for each ball and replace to freezer until chocolate is set! •

Saturday, I went to a kid’s unicorn theme birthday party. I happened to have a unicorn tank top in my closet with the tags still on. Anybody who knows me, knows I always dress to a theme. I put it on, got excited that my jeans were too big after losing 3 pounds over my vacation, and headed to the party. I had a great time and played with my favorite baby. .
When candid pictures started surfacing on Facebook, they showed a belly that looked 4 weeks post partum. MY baby is almost 5. .
It’s freaking amazing how different an angle, lighting, and position can make you look. .
I’m still haunted by how I look in the candids, but that baby loves me, I love myself, and I’m burning that fucking tank top. .
It is really easy to reach for the fast food, bagged food, packaged food, processed food... and it’s easy to do this over and over and over. It’s cheaper, it’s easier, it’s faster... it allows us to satisfy our immediate gratification of whatever craving we are having. It satiates our toxic bodies need for more toxicity. This food compounds in our bodies. The toxins stay around, wreaking havoc on our systems. .
These foods are the direct causes of anxiety, depression, cancer, indigestion, colitis, heartburn, ulcers, brain fog, poor sleep and lack of energy. THESE FOODS DO NOTHING FOR OUR BODIES. There is literally Zero Point in eating them. So why do we do it??? And we do it over and over again??? Until we get sick... .
I challenge you to make the change... to think about food exactly as what it has always meant to be; clean fuel for our bodies. Our bodies digestion system is made consume and absorb nutrients from things of the earth. When we put food color, toxic chemicals found in most of our foods, unorganic meats and breads into our bodies, it literally doesn’t recognize it and doesn’t know how to process it. No, it is not as much fun to reach for a handful of celery instead of a handful of pretzels, but what your body will be getting is significantly different. The things we consume can literally fight diseases in our bodies. When our systems are functioning optimally, we have a built in army that battles foreign objects and substances that make its way in. .
This year I found a raw, organic, dehydrated superfoods shake that is the equivalent of SIX SUPERFOODS SALADS. Since taking this shake daily I have seen a difference in my digestion, energy levels, bloating l, brightness of my eyes, gum health and edema. If you are dealing with gut health issues or lack of energy or quality sleep, brain fog, lethargy, inflammation or pain, I would love to share with you how these superfoods can literally reboot and reignite the systems in your body and bring you back to health. 🌱🥦🥑🍒
It took me a bit to actually want to post this because I use to be very insecure of my body, my scars, and just me in general. Decided to post it because I stopped giving a fuck what others think. I’ve been through a lot, from medication on a daily and being judged by society through my scars. I’m very happy with the results that I’ve obtained through powerlifting/bodybuilding. I’ve been getting thicker and stronger as the days go by. As soon as you put your head into what the fuck you’re doing, everything else is pure progress. Thanks to @devinnielsen_@dillon__fit@joshpear_squat@misterdotmeyer and @tommy_alvarez_ for getting me to do more then I could possibly do. And I’m happy to say I’m competing July 20th! 5 months out boys...storms coming.

Today, my daughters and I gave each other manicures. We listened to @disney music, watched the sun shine on the snow on our deck and shared a lot of giggles! 🥰
When I was working everyday in surgery as an RN, we weren’t allowed to wear nail polish. There was the risk of it chipping off onto the sterile field and sterile instruments. Our patients go through enough and I certainly wouldn’t want to risk that, so I always had naked nails. .
These painted nails and the time spent with my daughters today are proof of the freedom that I am so grateful for. A year ago, I dreamed of moments like this, where I was free to do what I wanted, when I wanted and who I wanted to be with. Yes, I’m still a working mom, but it’s when I CHOOSE to work. .
Do you crave freedom like this? Are you tired of working for someone else’s dreams everyday? Do you have a heart that wants to help others while also making money to provide for your family? If you’re not happy where you are now, what’s holding you back from the life you imagined?
Our team is growing so fast and helping so many women live the life of their dreams NOW. Can we show you how? I’m just a message away! ❤️
Animal research usually is the conductor on many hype trains, regarding human health. At best, this research can present us with a theory to test in humans. Animal research has indeed led us to some monumental discoveries (i.e. penicillin). Nevertheless, there are times when outcomes in animals do not translate well into human trials. Let me start by saying I feel so much better so I am not stopping, but I am frustrated. I have been, essentially, at the same weight for 3 weeks now. I am not really sure what is going on. My macros are on point, I track everything I eat, I am working out 5 days a week, I am Intermittent Fasting most days, I am drinking my water, staying away from artificial sweeteners most days. I don't know what is happening. I am hoping the scale will move this week.

L&G: My last dinner here before my real vacation starts! Had to send it off with something super yummy since my lean and greens will probably be out and about this next week. This was so good! I love how versatile the cauliflower crusts are you can make them into so many things and I can’t wait to try more combinations! Tonight’s is brought to you by a craving for nachos and I decided to create a recipe with my favorite things lately! So easy and so yummy!
Nachos (Cauliflower Crust Chips)
1 servings each serving equal to: 1 lean, 3 green, 1.5 condiment and 1 healthy fat.
Homemade Cauli Crust (how to in my last post)
3oz chicken/steak fajita jon soules
1/4 cup cup reduced Mexican 4 cheese
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes and also used some canned jalapeño and pico added in
1 tbsp parmesan
Instructions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Take out pizza crust and let de thaw until oven is preheated. Cut pizza into chip shapes with a pizza cutter. Line baking sheet with foil and non cooking spray. Bake chips until both sides of chips have crispy edges. While chips are baking sauté fresh jalapeño and meat I sautéed separately until warm. When chips are done top with meat and both Mexican 4 cheese and Parmesan. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted. Mix avocado, jalapeño, tomato and pico together. When cheese is melted take out of oven and top with avocado mixture and then enjoy!

I always loved dancing with my Dad, but never thought that, (in this picture @kennesawstateuniversity my bachelor graduation) 2007 would ever be our last happy dance😥.
::This capture means a lot to me in the spectrum of my love one but also the #weightlosstransformation journey I am embarking on.
: ::**This beautiful golden #kente top and skirt outfit from #Ghana was specifically made to fit me at the time. I was, I would say size 6/7 and weighted ~150lb but was also very healthy and toned. An exceptional beautiful gift from my twin Untie. I never thought I would nor could ever fit into again. I had it tucked away until I recently tried it on and was in full tears🙏🏽😭**.
-Bitter sweet Memories ❤️
- RIP Daddy Kow Andoh Wilson 🙏🏽
✨Praise be to God for giving me the courage to do hard things.
👯♀️To my friends and family who have supported me endlessly.
🍕To pizza, for always tasting amazing when I needed it to.
🌈To serendipity, and the opportunities I’ve run into because of it.
💰To passive income, that taught me there are ways to work smart, not hard. DOLLADOLLABILLYALL
😭To all the negative thoughts I conjured up about myself during and after a hard pregnancy.
🧒🏻To my sweet baby boy, who reminds me everyday, “mommy, your tummy is squishy”.
🍦To one helluva nutrition plan. .
Thanks Monday ✌️

Celebrated some birthdays this weekend which meant pizza, wings and some sweets. 🤦🏻♂️ Tomorrow is a new day. New week. Same goals. Alarms are set. Ready to go. Week 7 of @armageddon starts at 5am. Week 2 @f45_training_blackrock starts at 5:45pm after work. Don't focus on other people in the gym or other people in classes you take. Don't compare yourself to them. Look in the mirror. That's your competition. That's who you need to focus on. The person you saw when you started the journey back in week 1. That's the motivation and the drive to keep you going. Don't quit. Keep pushing. 💪🏋️♂️

First we look 👀, then we eat🍴!
Binge eating disorder? Then please read!🧡⬇️
What is the very first thing we do before we have a bite? Smell? Taste? Touch? Or see?
✨When we go grocery shopping, Why do we feel tempted to go with the more expensive brands packaging, why do we want to pick the best looking vegetables and fruits? Why do we match our shoes to our clothes or, put on makeup and comb our hair? Why does nature have a healing effect? ...Why do those “Instagram” pictures have to look Perfect + Pretty all the time (You see those “Instagram” vs “Reality” posts?!).
By far the most important organs of sense are our eyes and we perceive up to 80% of all impressions by means of our sight. We are usually attracted by the beauty. If we put effort to look good in order to feel good, why wouldn’t we put an extra effort on our food? 💁🏻♀️Especially if your priority is nutrition!🍏
👱♀️👉YOU DESERVE to look good, to have matching shoes with your pretty dress👗 ..But, don’t you forget, you also deserve to have nutritious and well presented plates to nourish your body and soul!☯️
A study by👨🏻🔬 gastrophysicist Professor Charles Spencer at the Oxford University has proved that making something look good makes it effectively taste better too. If you have binge eating disorder, you might want to start working on the presentation of your foods. If your eyes are satisfied enough, your stomach may be too! Don’t forget to chew your food and eat slow!
Would love to see your beautiful plates! Don’t forget to tag me!☺️❤️Thanks to @fitwmeneat for this wonderful graphic.
Happy weekend guys!

When I imagined myself 85 pounds lower than my starting weight, I pictured a flat stomach with all my proportions right. As I’m getting closer and closer to my goal weight, I’m realizing that I’ll never have that body. I’m learning to accept that and love my new body that I’ve worked SO damn hard for. I ordered some swimsuits for my honeymoon (not until August...I’m a planner lol) and this is the first time I’m wearing a bikini in my adult life. I ordered high waisted bottoms but the reality is that I have cellulite, stretch marks, extra skin, chub, and a frowny face belly button. My bottoms are a medium and my tops are 38DDD and are still a little small. But I’m going to rock my new swimsuits and be PROUD of how far I’ve come.

⚠️ This isn’t your regular progress picture⚠️
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY MAKING PROGRESS?
Making progress might be different for everyone. For me, it has changed from weighing less to getting stronger, to barely completing my weekly workouts, and make healthier choices.
I have gone from setting goals like being able to run 7-8 miles 2-3x a week last summer to just practicing yoga everyday (if possible) now.
TBH, it is disappointing to not see visible changes after a point, to not see more muscles, to not see any physical progress. And I have been there! I am still there some days. I feel like I am working hard, but my eating has been all over the place, especially on the weekends.
But this year, I am trying to be extra kind on myself for missing a Monday, for taking 3 rest days a week, for just watching Netflix when I don’t feel like working out, for enjoying treats with my husband when I meet him after two weeks.
Do I not wanna see myself become stronger? Do I not wanna see more muscles on myself? Of course I do. But is it more important than my sleep? Is it more important than my time with my husband? Is it more important than my academics? NO! Not really!
So yes, achieving a physical goal like pull-ups or headstands are definitely a great way to push yourself, but LISTENING TO YOUR BODY, respecting what it needs is what makes all the difference✨
When I feel I am not making enough physical progress, I try to take a step back and see how far I have made it. Be proud of yourself. Be proud of the challenges you have faced. Be proud of your efforts and keep working on bettering yourself👊🏻

So I had a quite a few questions from my story today about the walking I did. So not every day looks like that. Some days I lift, some days I do more intense cardio, some days I do a mix of both. I will say that when I starting adding in fasted steady state cardio into my routine it made a HUGE difference. I used to lift very heavy 5 days a week. Each day was a specific muscle group. And honestly it was great for my goals at the time.
Adding muscle mass and losing fat are two very different things and should be approached two very different ways. Ever wonder why fitness competitors have a bulking and cutting season?! It’s not cause they feel like eating donuts in the winter. 😏😉
Reminder than my next DietBet starts February 27th!! Link is in my bio!💜

🍏 No fridge? No problem! Here are some healthier snack options for when you don’t have any refrigeration available but want fresh food!
There are so many reasons — on a 🚧 👷🏻♀️ construction site, between classes at school 📖 , hiking 🥾 or camping ⛺️ etc — when you need food but can’t keep it cold. And FYI refrigeration is a must-have for cooked meats and dairy products, which shouldn’t be left out for more than a few hours!
Lots of fruit 🍌 here because it’s fine at room temp! Also for avocados 🥑 I don’t cut them until I’m ready to eat for ultimate freshness and also to avoid browning. Any other ideas? Leave them below! And double tap if you want more posts like these! 💪🏻🥑🍉 #eatbetternotless
