    Might be silly question but what does RPE stand for? Race pace ....?

  • @sufi_sage 4:29 PM Feb 11, 2019

    This is my workout today. I'll let you know how it goes! 👌🏼

  • @sufi_sage 4:34 PM Feb 11, 2019

    @lukeshaw182 Yo. Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) is an index of exercise intensity in swimming training.

  • @evan_certifiedtrihard_landez 4:35 PM Feb 11, 2019

    @lukeshaw182 rate of perceived exertion

  • @calgaryrichard 4:37 PM Feb 11, 2019

    Done a workout like this at higher intensity and longer rest. This looks good.

  • @lukeshaw182 4:40 PM Feb 11, 2019

    @sufi_sage thanks

  • @stephanekaram 5:08 PM Feb 11, 2019

    My learning topic from PT course was on different types of cardio respiratory system training last night and my passion is for triathlons; helpful reminder to never stop learning! Thank you :)

    @carloslbarroso qué opinas de esta técnica?

  • @mtpimm 6:16 PM Feb 11, 2019

    @evan_certifiedtrihard_landez and what does that mean exactly?

  • @evan_certifiedtrihard_landez 6:20 PM Feb 11, 2019

    @mtpimm how hard you should do the interval. 10/10 is all out zone 5 stuff while 5/6 is more like tempo maybe a lil under that. Although correct me if I'm wrong

    @markthrelfallgtn @fellsfoodandfitness the swim vids are great could you do one on how to find your correct cadence/ spm or how to improve your stroke per min!? Thanks

  • @swimbikerunz 8:24 PM Feb 11, 2019

    I changed it a bit to first set swim, second = pull, third = pull and paddles now I can’t lift a shopping bag! 🤣😂

  • @jy_mack 9:44 PM Feb 11, 2019

    15secs rest between each 100m & 30secs between sets ✌🏼

  • @rcb.tri 10:04 PM Feb 11, 2019

    Is that arm crossing to the other side a bit more than ideal?

  • @geofftryguy 10:52 PM Feb 11, 2019

    Nice. Except my pace was all over the place and I can’t count! 🤣🤣 Though swimming in an open air pool was great. 😁🌞

  • @aidjanrome 11:21 PM Feb 11, 2019

    @lukeshaw182 rated perceived effort

  • @emakrinos 8:16 AM Feb 12, 2019

    I did this training last night. I feel that 300m of warmup is not enough to get you prepared. I think you should take up at least 10mins of warmup. Also 5 sec stop is really nothing. If you're logging the training in a smartwatch, it's negligible. So I ended up with ~8 secs to catch my breath. A good set though, not to get bored.
